It was actually very easy to do. If someone cares about weight and balance to be directed more towards the handle I can recommend this procedure. I bought tiny saw for 2$, sand paper for 0.5$ and just went for it. It looks like factory new edge. Obviously the sides should be shaved less, from 0.1mm on the side to 5mm on top. That way you don't lose vertical surface. From what I remember it saved approximately 8g, mileage may vary depending on the blade and rubber. I think it could be a good option for kids aswell. Anyway good luck hunting.
I am in Sweden so it is like only 6-7 €.
The top ply for Cybershape Carbon is not in mint condition but still looks very playable. Maybe I am too kind.
Can not really see how the ply is on the cybershape on the pictures. If it is not to crazy bad I will go for the cybershape and the extra offensive. Or would you recommend another blade you have?
Depends on what you are looking for in a penhold blade.
These are some blades I like below.
For loop kills and excellent RPB it is difficult to beat the Extra Offensive, great value for money although top sheet can be a bit fragile.
If you want something really soft with a lot of flex I like the Infinity VPS.
Are you looking for something towards the Long 5 but on a budget the Sword HD997 Pro is very nice and durable.
