Gap on my Rubber and i somehow love it

So i transfered over my rubbers to a new blade and for some reason my red side shrunk. because of it, i had to glue it with a small gap. It happens to turn out, i really kind of love this? on my forehand in shakehand, my thumb rests there and when the rubber is glued normally, it would press into the rubber a bit or sits a little different. but with the gap, my thumb can fall into this perfectly and just rest there. it feels really nice
