Gluing OX Rubber With Glue Sheet Question With Sticky Side

Have you guys ever had a glue sheet to where it's not designated which is the super sticky side? ie - the side that's supposed to go on the rubber and not the blade.

I ordered an OX LPs and years ago I had an OX LPs correctly on a glue sheet. I loved it. Pulled off easy. Stayed sticky forever. Very easy to work with if I ever wanted to transfer it to another blade. Conversely, years later I had an OX sheet I was pulling off and the glue sheet was stuck to the blade and not sticking to the rubber when I was removing it. A week plus later and a lot of rubbing with some pretty raw fingers and needless to say I never want to do that again.

So experienced people out there with glue sheets. If it's not directly labeled, can you tell by peeling back a corner and is one side distinctly more tacky than another? Is there some other way to tell or hack to be sure I never have a glue sheet permanently stick to my blade again?

This guy in his video is using a Donic glue sheet and apparently it states which is the sticky side. I'm getting mine from the place where I bought the rubber and the supplier indicated that they are not sure which side is the sticky side so it'll be up to me to figure that out.

I don't know how you can tell which is the stickier side (the only ones I've used were always labelled on the backing of the sheet), but I would highly recommend you seal the blade before you put the glue sheet on, which definitely makes it a lot easier to remove the glue sheet when you have to.

I only ever use the cheap ones from china. They are sticky, very sticky on both sides.
When I remove the rubber it is to throw it away ,not to re use it on another blade.
If the gluesheet remains on the blade i have no problem, my blades are all sealed . I take a thick kitchen tissue and lay it on the blade the carefully saturate the paper with mineral turpentine. After soaking for 10 minutes the gluesheet is so soft i can push it away with a plastic spatula in 1 minute.
