Hi guys! I'm so happy because I ordered a Dimitrij Ovtcharov ALC and today arrived!. But I'm curious about if it's real or fake. I mean everything looks good but the weight I feel it's way too light. And when I look at the wood I get a feeling that it's cheap wood. But at the same time I think I'm just overthinking. Anyway, I took some pictures of the blade and would appreciate you guys could tell me if it looks good or there is something fake in it. Thank you guys so much!

Don't worry about weight, generally lighter blades are faster to swing and play better in the new fast era of the game. They say that the tradeoff is a bit less feel, if the blade is light, but it's bull.

Good example is my Viscaria, which is 90 grams feels perfect, sharp, very clear and has a softer feel for a carbon blade. My coach's Viscaria is 82, but there's no difference between them. Maybe his feels a touch harder, but it could be the rubbers. He uses bluestorm pro and I use t05.

Weight on a blade has to do with wood density. If the density is too low and the blade is extremely light, then it could be an issue.

Some models like the Clipper for example, are known to suffer from bad feeling if they're too light. I don't know why that happens, my Clippers are 85 and 90, 90 plays better and the other feels a bit awkward.
