I play goldarc 8, the 47.5 max version.

It's not a bad rubber by any means and plays very nicely on the table, it doesn't have much catapult, serve and receive is easy and spinny, countering is easy.

The problems is that it doesn't have much speed and the throw angle is a strong medium. Coming from t05, it was a struggle. The topsheet is medium hard too, so not what you're looking for.

The hurricane 3 neo has a soft topsheet. In general only hybrids and Chinese rubbers have soft topsheets because they don't have surface tension. Tenergy 05 is an exception, its topsheet is pretty soft, and dignics even more. But t05 is sensitive and d05 has low throw and is expensive.

From European rubbers, your best chance is donic rubbers.

You ought to know mechanical tensile resistance on the rubber strip as shown on video. Lower measure of the rubber resistance corresponds to a softer rubber material.
