I played it for a year and it's my favorite inner carbon blade. Compared to Viscaria, it's softer (limba outer) and plays slower over the table. So for someone coming from all wood it might feel more controllable on softer contact. But it's nonlinear with a fairly extreme catapult, so it might feel less controllable on harder contact. It's really like two (excellent) blades in one, which I guess is the idea of inner carbon blades. The reason I stopped using it was that on intermediate power shots like open ups -- where you're treading the line between the slower blade and the catapult -- I found it tricky to handle.

Butterfly Franziska Innerforce ZLC is my favorite blade right now. Compared to Butterfly Ovtcharov Innerforce ALC, Franziska is a bit slow and a bit more control. I like that over Ovtacharov. I mean I like Ovtcharov is cheaper by quite a bit and I can see the speed appeal of Octacharov. slightly different blades depend on what you like.

yes
shortplay is great
blocks even better
but it's an all or nothing blade. slow fine, or hard/fast.. I have trouble playing the more normal pace. Can be my skill of course.
but as low level intermediate I like this blade the most.
Any difference compare to Harimoto innerforce zlc? Currently using tmxi pro and wanted to get something smiliar from bty. Narrows down to those two.

They all play roughly the same. The biggest difference between them is the weight;

Franziska ZLC: ~86 gr.
IF ZLC: ~90 gr.
Harimoto ZLC: 92 gr.

I would say the Franziska and Harimoto are slightly more headheavy with heavier rubbers. The IF ZLC is more balanced. So whatever weight and balance you prefer is the one you should pick.

How is G-1 on the Franziska blade? I was thinking of putting it on my bh.

I like G-1, its perfect on my backhand. It does everything I want it to do.

For my forehand I am content with G-1, but I prefer Hybrid K3. Unfortunately that only lasted me 6 weeks, so I went back to G-1. I am currently waiting for Genextion V2C to come out and give that a go.

Thanks, I ordered G-1 2.0mm for my bh. I saw that the rubber is described as "super-thick".

I really like both blades but they especially fzc blade looks like it will get dirty over time due to its handle design but it is what it is

The Franziska will actually stay cleaner then the IF ZLC and Harimoto. The yellow will eventually get a little grey-ish when using it for longer.

The grey in the Franziska will probably also de-colour a little, but I dont think you will notice it as much.

there seems to be quite some debate on the Franzisks IF ZLc and regular IF zlc. people find them quite different to play with. would your opinion be that it's mostly due to the weight of the separate blades?

My coach told me that the regular IF ZLC can have massive differences in playing properties as well. And the weight seems to be related. You can get one as light as 83gr. but also as heavy as 93gr.

The weight in the Franziska seems to be more consistent. But I bought my IF ZLC 2nd hand at 91gr. If I were to buy a new one I would probably buy the Franziska.
