There's just no way. I'm too lazy to get up and inspect them side by side but subjectively D05 has a grittier, way grippier feeling, juiced up sponge, whereas Glayzer feels smoother and more relaxed to use (something beyond just softer), way way way way way less lethal. Glayzer is sneaky because on a fast blade (which is required if you want to try to use it) it makes you think you are doing quality shots with good arc, spin, enough power etc. all while under control but it's pretty fake and so much will be returned back to you.
This is exactly what Rozena does compared to Tenergy. You get the sensation, but not the performance. With Glayzer it feels a little less pronounced but that might just be due to Dignics being way beyond my level.

says mid distance powerlooping!

Got myself a new Glayzer on the backhand of my Viscaria ST. Played some multiball and matches with it.

Pros - The hyper grippy, gummy and thick Glayzer topsheet that's the same as on the Dignics05 gives me confidence on my strokes and a good feeling when brushing. The Spring Sponge X gives me consistent stability and a minimal but nice catapult feeling that clicks and makes me want to play with it more and more. On the Viscaria ST, it feels speedy enough, strong and stable, with good consistency plus high power and spin reserves. Punch blocking is okay, but looping or flicking is a breeze.

Cons - The only one I can think of is that it doesn't punch block as fast as what I used to have when I was using the Rozena or Stiga Mantra Pro on backhand before. So in some sense I lost a weapon I used to have on my backhand, but I think some adaptation can give me back those weapons in due time. Adaptation on forearm acceleration is required, but minimal. Adjusted ok after a few strokes, and more to come.

I do wonder in my sleep if the Dignics05 would be the better backhand rubber, but control and price is a factor. I'm not very backhand dominant, but I do play well on my backhand. I guess I won't find out soon though, because this Glayzer is probably going to last me at least a year.
