Modern defender setup

Hi guys! I need some opinions on this setup im about to go:

Dhs 08x
Fh: h3
Bh: victas tsp s1

Im abit unsure about s1 what thickness i should use in modern defence? I like to attack alot whenever I get the chance to

I have played s1 and p1 on my def blade. People play with s1 so they can attack on bh. S1 offers more variety of spin.

Most people need about 1mm sponge at least to allow fast enough speed.

The downside is s1 takes a lot more training than p1 to master.

1.6, stable for chopping, ok for attacking. Try 1.3 for a bit more spin reversal, but you need to put a bit more into it when attacking.

Depends on your goal. Do you have a lot of time to train? Do you have a good coach? If so s1 is better.

It’s extremely hard to attack with p1. But s1 is an attack monster

go with 1.3 if you chop more. 1.3 is enough to attack
