For those not aware of this movie:
For Aussies, available at www.sbs.com.au/ondemand/watch/2345877571800
It covers China's Swaythling Cup efforts during the 1993 and 1995 World TT Championships under Cai Zhen Hua (the scary anti-spin rubber user)
The movie itself is ok, not something to EJ about, but I found it interesting that the actors who portrayed Waldner and Persson played somewhat recognizably like Waldner and Persson. Waldner's iconic serve and Persson's iconic hair is there, but I didn't see the backhand cobra strike
. But otherwise, the forms are cringe, especially the forehands by the Swedes (reminds me of Forrest Gump's form).
Also it was curious they used Waldner, Persson, and Karlsson's names, but the names of the actual Chinese players were disguised. (Or maybe they weren't, but the English subtitles don't spell them the normal way).
