Probably awesome, definately not worth the price tag. Same as my W968, only worth it as a useable collectors item, performance between W968 and HL5/Innerforce ALC is not much honestly but its more about how cool it is to have a rare blade than performance (like the black tag nonsence)

I'm a pro musician, do I need a 4 grands $ or £ or € Custom Shop Fender guitar/bass ?

NO

I'm paid 112.80 € as a salary when I'm declared as an intermittent labor in the music industry, i.e. when I play a jazz gig in a restaurant for example with the guys I play with, and most of the times only a trio drummer + pianist/guitarist: less workers to pay means easier to be declared by the restaurant's owner.

Are you a pro player to justify the need of a pro blade ? Even myself being paid do not justify the need for a Custom Shop instrument.

Exacty what Bill Burr said about guys in music instruments shops so: table tennis shops are full of divorced guys or lost in marriage that compensate with overpriced blades/rubbers/shoes "is that the real Golden Viscaria ? is that the one Lin Shidong played with ?"

I once played with a blues rock guitarist/lead singer that whined about his Fender Stevie Ray Vaughan Signature poorly adjusted: fret buzzes everywhere, chords sounding wrong because the intonation was sh*t, guess what he said " for the price we pay for this that should last in time with no need to ask a luthier to do repairs or settings !"

Yep, now you know: the guy had 0 knowledge about settings on his instrument, I took it for a week-end, took me 4 hours to make it playable again... because I have the knowledge, I've learned (and still learn !) for decades the dos and donts on musical instruments settings. The guy is a great player and singer, but his ego and money prevented him from being humble enough to... learn.

Tbh this is a reach/projection, sure i dont loose much ability playing with MXP and a Waldner WC89 but I can easily afford £600 on a hobby so why not. Not understanding guitar maintenance is different to saying I like using the same blade as my idol.

As long as people dont think that the equipment will make them good then its fine by me. But let people buy what they want lol, when i first started at uni my budget was £15 per rubber and £50 for a blade.

Have one, not regretting one bit. I had played with the Viscaria for 10+ years and the Viscaria Golden just feels very special compared to other Viscarias. Switched to W968-type blades after that, though, as my game has evolved to be a bit more balanced between FH and BH now instead of just being BH dominant. Still keeping mine and planning to switch back once I get a bit older and can no longer attack every incoming ball.
