rubbers for Nittaku Hina Hayata H2

Hi,

I'm at a loss and I think I've been reading too much lately.

I used to play thicker koto blade and have now switched to an inner carbon blade.
Which rubbers are good, especially for the Hayata H2?

I have read good things about Victas V20 Double Extra and Extra. But I also know from the past that a G-1 and a Vega X play well. I found HMK to be good on the backhand of a colleague who has the Harimoto ALC.
I have also read that harder rubbers are better suited to the Hayata.

Briefly about me:

I basically play a variable offense - so any shot can happen, but I try to open up quickly or go on the attack. My technique is clean, but I'm a bit lazy, so my footwork is only moderate. Vega X and G-1 were definitely good for me and not too “much” on the FH. On the RH I had C1, Vega Europe, Dynaryz CMD and I'm wondering if I need something harder on the BH. Control was always there, but it was never powerful enough. I also don't usually play “max”, but stay in my comfort zone of 1.9mm - 2.1mm.
I've also played Glayzer and Glayzer 09c as well as Dignics 09c.
D09c was great, but I think it was too demanding.

Maybe you can help me.

If you want something harder on BH, try Stiga mantra pro H or Hammond z2. Hammond has harder sponge than G1 but due to very supple and gripy rubber on top it actually feels softer., and it is very fast.

u mentioned liking G-1 and Vega X so maybe good to stick with what you like for now... as good a guess as any and go from there. then just watch lots of Hayata training videos and practice an intimidating scream

Chinese rubbers pair really well with the H2, so you could try that. Hurricane 3 Neo Provincial? You can also try a hybrid. I can vouch for the Stiga DNA Dragon Power.

Donic Bluegrip J2 and J3 is realy nice combo to that blade. Have just played 2 hours with it but that combo felt nice.

The J1 played very well in the first 2 months with it, now it feels more like 80% of the original rubber, lacking spin, and it has gotten even harder to activate my Surge's carbon layer.. Durability is not a virtue of the J1, the J2 and J3 seem to have the same issue too. A lot of players in my country just prefer the C2 over anything in the J series.

I would recommend a Chinese rubber, or a more manual Hybrid, as those will fully unlock the spin potential of the H2.

The tried and tested Hurricane 3 Neo Provincial Blue, can't go wrong with one especially if it's boosted, I believe even Hina herself is using the rubber. Any Hybrid Rubber that is more tame/not very aggressive (Tibhar Hybrid K3 Pro) like a Stiga DNA Dragon Power or Tibhar Hyrbid MK.
