Hi there!

So I'm going to buy a new blade, and I think I'm going to go with the Victas Koki Niwa wood. The thing is that I've read that it's pretty stiff. What differenses does it make how stiff or flexible the blade is? Rigtht now I'm playing with the Timo Boll CAF. What's the differens between these two?

I'm not looking to switch out my ordinary blade. Just for fun to try something new. Thats why I'm thinking about the Niwa wood. A 7 ply all wood. I just want to be sure that it's something I potentially could use.

Never tried your CAF, but the Koki Niwa wood is in the moderate-thin range for 7-plies. Should be similar or slightly less stiff than a Clipper which is moderately stiff. Nothing excessive. Slightly thinner 7-plies usually feel fairly direct and crisp. Medium-hard but good density.

Expensive for what it is though. You'll probably get a better deal with the TSP Swat.
