Stiga Allround Classic Carbon for beginner who want to develop good technique

Hello Everyone

I'm a beginner table tennis player, I was playing the game occasionally with my friends and colleagues.. I bought joola match pre-assembled bat that helped me to understand the basics of the game, I decided to go for a custom made as I take the game more seriously now for which it can help me develop good techniques & strokes

I'm looking forward to buy stiga allround classic carbon + Stiga Airco S rubbler for both FH & BH.

I have seen a lots of awsome reviews about this blade as it provide a good feeling, control and spin where many reviewer recommend it for new players.

Other players are telling me to avoid carbon blades.

Please help as I truely in love with the stiga allround classic carbon honoring the stiga allround classic.

I think thats not a good rubber for a beginner and I think that the allround classic wood blade is one of the best blades out there for beginners (not carbon). As for rubber, I would recomend one of the 729 friendship rubbers (not sure which one in particular)

I would recommend allwood blade. Offensive Classic Wood/ Allround classic wood would fit well. About Rubbers, I don't recommend softer rubbers, because you will not develop a solid stroke. You should try slow and medium/medium hard rubbers rubbers like sriver on FH and Sriver EL on BH (it's a example, you can buy cheap chinese rubbers that fit well also). If you wan't chinese rubber on FH, I would recommend 729 Super FX Boosted. It's a can't-go-wrong rubber when boosted on FH to someone that want's to learn chinese FH technique.

Coming from a pre-assembled racket, I will not recommend using that blade as it will not help you learn the basics. The rubbers you mentioned are fast and requires a technique to control them.

Stiga Allround Classic (no carbon) with same rubbers on both sides: Sriver FX, Mark V soft, Rakza 7 Soft...

I have two colleagues that bought Stiga Allround Carbon to play with at work. They are beginners but can handle it pretty well together with Hurricane 3 and Tenergy 05.
Personally i dont like the feeling of that blade, a bit to stiff.

I guess Stiga Allround Classic or if you want a bit faster Butterfly Petr Korbel blade.



Rubber i would suggest
Mendo
Rakza 7 soft
Tenergy 64 fx 1.9 mm

729 i really dislike, you get decent spin but you get no power from that rubber at all, IMO!

I dont think super soft rubbers are good for beginners because its hard to develop basic strokes with them. I started with friendship and gambler rubbers and then I got vega Europe when i was about usatt 800-1000 and had mastered the basic strokes. Tenergy is way too fast for any beginner as is victas v01

For a beginner i think you wont me dissapointed with the control of that blade with that rubber.
Then you just replace the rubber when you ready for next step. In my club i have several of players over 1800 mmr (sweden) using just Stiga allround classic.
