Nice trick by Yinhe. The pimples would come from factory with a decent amount of friction on the pimples top thereabout 0.7 CoF. And those will turn nearly frictionless after a short playing session. Yes, it is an implicit form of fraudulence by Yinhe, yet it is welcome very much by blocking defenders.

There's no evidence that this is intentional, so it's really no different to any other rubber that loses friction over time. All are covered under the same rule:

2.4.7.1 Slight deviations from continuity of surface or uniformity of colour due to accidental damage or wear may be allowed provided that they do not significantly change the characteristics of the surface.
