Ok this is strange news

But then again may not very strange given that TTFI itself is suspended and some non TT people are running the show till suspension ends

What about teams from other countries. I suspect China can wait till last minute may be, because tehy are the hosts , not that it matters

I can't say what happened there, but since Teams tournament doesn't have any more ranking points for individual players....
This could cause certain players to measure the pros and cons of taking part or not.
Ie injury, scheduling etc

China already announced 4 players per gender, based on they world rankings.
5th player will be by trials.

China of course won't have an issue with the potential problem I listed above, as players don't have a say on "not wanting to take part"
