Performance wise, it works just fine to put fast offensive rubbers on a defensive blade. You should consider the weight though...

I use Korbel now. Have played with short pips forehand for 20 years. You want a thick short hit. This is easier on faster harder blades... -
Short pips tend to work better on stiffer blades. 7ply blades work well. So my suggestion: Blade: Sanwei Fextra, Yinhe U2 or DHS PG7...
