For G40+ in Balls
Cons
  • odd sound
  • less spin
  • odd bouce
Well, I've tested quite a few plastic balls but I mainly play with the old Ball since most of the teams in my league still use it.

This particular Ball has to be the worsed i tried since the first test balls from palio came out.
My Partner and I tested 6 balls and only one of them seemed round. This round ball had more or less consistent bounce until it broke after about 10 minutes. The bounce was different to other balls but at least it was consitent. As soon as the round ball broke and we continued trying out the others and it was like playing with easter eggs. The new Balls in general are less spinny and slower compared to the old balls but with this ball it felt even worse compared to other pballs. It Feels heavier and the blade and creates a very broken sound. Just like the old testing balls from Palio.

Overall i really dislike this ball.

Well. The Timo Boll Alc for me ist just the classic carbon blade when it comes to modern table tennis. I've played most of the Butterfly Arylate Carbon blades and some people say they all play the same but for me this simply isnt true. The perfect Boll Alc for me weighs around 86 grams and has the best ratio of touch and speed.
I've tried so many different blades but allways came back to the ALC.

For Blocking this blade is crazy stable and just overall very consistent. Players like Fegerl, who is probably the best blocker in the world at this point, rely on this blade. Yet offensive blayers like Boll or Jao Monteiro play this blade too and this sums up my feeling for the blade. Its very stable in all shots and just overall good in every point of the game. It feels kinda hard because of the Arylte Carbon fiber but its still feels more "alive" then other pure Carbon blades.
The only thing that sometimes dissapoints me is the lack of flex of the blade, so i allways have to use enough acceleration to generate enough speed. This only effekts me on lazy days though

Well I played this rubber for over one and half years now. Mainly on Butterfly Alc blades (Boll Alc, viscaria, maze, if Alc) and on the Korbel eu Version. Im going to try Evolution el-s soon but for now Vega pro is my rubber of choice. I pay 28 Euros per sheet otherwise i would still Play tenergy.

Overall my passive Game is a strong key of winning when i Play against opponents on my Level. For me the Vega pro is just Great here. I can punch block, spin block or chop at will. Passive five Stars plus

However i play when i play against weakerw oponents where i have to play active my first ball lacks speed and often length. Due to the hardness and the lack of catapult you have to play the ball with allot of arm and/or wrist accelerstion. This is not for eveyone. So i would prefere a bit more speed and bounce. Still a great rubber if you but power behind your shots.
