Butterfly Jun Mizutani Super ZLC

Amazing quality , Great sweet spot , tremendous spin. Best thing is the dwell time that produces high amount of spins in every stroke. Of course price is insane but the quality is amazing. Only negative for me is the speed. Too much to handle in my opinion .

I bought this blade in 2014 looking to replace my Viscaria because I felt it lacks the speed and power.
I was searching for a blade that has the control and dwell of the Visca yet faster than it. then came out this blade
slapped a Tenergy 80 for fh and the fx version for the backhand. My wish was granted a fast blade with excellent feel and dwell
a year later I changed rubbers and put 05 and 64 the hidden potential of this blade was revealed. The ball stays so long that I felt
the spin produced by the 05 was amplified. My spins were golf balls and the 64 for backhand was the best in terms of blocking actively or passively.

As my level improved due to experiences from National games I started to like the Mizu even more specially in counters and long table rally.
Now I am using two 05's to compensate for the slower polyball. Still producing golfballs whether in the forehand or backhand side.
Long table play,flicks,block and control in service is still the same. artillery in long table, crunchy flicks, stable blocks and Mizu like serve.

PS. I changed my Mizu for Akrasia for some time buuuuuut eventually went back
as it is more stable and my spins here is more consistent.

Since February 2015, I've been using this flared blade with BTY Tenergy 05 on the FH, and Yasaka Rakza X on the BH.
Once you see the packaging it comes in, it is very clear why it costs £280. There is a nice look to the blade, with the colour coordiantion making it very attractive & once holding the blade, it has a very comfortable feel (even if you adjust your grip for certain shots).
Once rallying, you'll notice it has a very nice feel to it straight away and reminds me of the feel of the BTY Innerforce ZLC (somewhat stiffer but a fair bit faster).
FH(Rocket)- Even from my first hits I could really feel the ball sink in to the blade and making most of it's wide sweet spot. It took me a few practise sessions to get back into my complete rhythm of play but once I did, balls flew past sparring partners and the blade had more than enough power to hit past opponents.
BH(Need to be very consistent)- In my first few matches of using this blade, I found it very difficult to get more than one/two shots on per point. They'd always go too long or go into the net. However after some getting used to, it felt much easier to drive/punch past opponents and force them off the table. Backhand flicks were excelled- whether you wanted to put them down the line or produce heavy spin back, it was very easy.
Short game(Need very good touch) Due to the JM Super ZLC being so fast, touch play would not be easy to control at all. Balls were always going off the table due to the speed but it was heavy spin being produced. When wanting to do a dropshot, sometimes the ball would be picture perfect, sometimes the ball would just bounce off the blade and off the end of the table. Fortunately, this got much better after time and you feel well in control.
Finally, I'd recommend this blade to any offensive player for both BH/FH who is consistent. Even if you miss the sweetspot you still have a good chance of getting the ball back on. The dwell time enables the ball to literally 'sink' into the blade and produce tons of spin.

Yesterday I had an opportunity to try, this awsome blade:
Jun Mizutani Super ZLC Anatomic, FH: T05, BH: T80

The blade is a good example of fine craftmanship, well for that price it better be. Nice finish on the blade, the composite material has a really nice texture, colours and the pattern are stilysh. The blade is a bit small, just like the chinese player themed Butterfly blades (LSW, ZJK). The handle is short and thin, but it is comfortable.

Since the other two reviews are accurate and detailed, I will share some additional info. The blade has a very nice feel and a sort of linear soft kick to the ball. Nowdays the TB ALC, TB Spirit and other ALC blades are very popular, but ALC dampens or numbs resonance of the blade much. Zylon is a type of kevlar derivative so is arylate too. Carbon has a qute rigid feel and a harsh resonance when applied to a blade, but it is a undenyable what benefits it has. But this setup Super ZLC is actually perfect, it has the same feeling as a kevlar-karbon composite blade, but way more softer feel. This can be also descibed similar to the Liu Shiwen and IF ZLC but with a bit more stiffer feel and tempo. Overall the blade is a OFF type blade with a nice ALL+/OFF- touch. The setup works really well with the Tenergy rubbers (as intended from the manufacturer) way better, than any other setups I tried so far.

Hi Guys, I've recently bought this blade and thought of sharing a quick review
detailing my impressions about it. I'm had 2 practice sessions and 1 league game
with it and so far I'm pretty impressed. Before getting into details it might be worth
noting a couple of things. I'm a table tennis enthusiast regularly playing in the Bristol
UK (county) league. My level of play is bottom of premier league I enjoy playing
a somewhat offensive game, but I do rely a lot on a good blocking and positioning game.
Previously I was using Butterfly Innerforce ALC. I use tenergy 80 and 05 on my
forehand and backend respectively. The reason why I decided to change blade was
because my game has improved over the last couple of months and I was feeling the ALC
was a bit too soft and lacked pace. I had tried harder blades and liked them, so decided
it was time for a change. I bought the JMSZLC after watching TTdaily Dan's review.
I figured this blade would fit my game style better due to not being as hard as the ZJ,
and providing a rounder loop arc.

The blade impressed me immediately. The very first thing I noticed was the consistency
and the wide sweet spot. I really is very noticible that every shot is played consistently --
with my old ALC blade, the moment the ball hit the outer edges, I felt less confident
and the shots weren't too accurate. With the JM shots are easy and very consistent.

The bounce on the blade feels terrific. You get the impression that the ball speeds up as i
leaves the bat. Also noticed immediately that despite not having changed the rubbers,
the behaviour changed substantially. With the JM a had a lot of more time on the ball and
the tenergy rubbers felt they could spin the ball with less effort on my part.
On my game, I rely heavily on my backend blocking. The JM absolutely excels at this.
I reckon in a matter on a couple of weeks my backend technic and consistent will improve
drastically. It's an amazing feeling to be able to rely on a blade like this. Suddendly,
I've got a lot more confidence to spin the ball with my backend and this blade makes
it really easy. My forehand has also noticed improvements, mostly it's a lot easier to impart
spin on the ball. Overall I'm very happy and despite being tagged at a high price, I'll def think
it's worth it. I'm missing fewer balls and enjoying those beautiful shots a lot more. This is a
hard quick blade for the offensive player that wants control.
