Item details

It has been extensively tested by many of our contract professionals and features Butterfly's newest technical innovation, the use of ZL Fiber. ZL Fiber is lighter in weight and harder than even Carbon.

At the same time ZL Fiber is more flexible than Carbon and holds the ball a little longer, allowing for maximum spin to be created. The ITTF has banned all glues with VOC's as of September 1, 2008. Butterfly has created the Photino for the modern topspin player looking for more power in a future without fresh gluing.

Pros
  • Very ligh
  • Excellent dwell
I use this blade with Tenergy 05FX on both sides, blade is very light, very well balanced, very good control, very fast and it produces lot of spin due to be very soft and has prolong dwell time. You can play short game on the table or go long distance off the table and it does all that. Very good control since you held the ball literally on the blade and the feeling when you hit the ball is great. I sometimes think that blade is connected to my body, it is very expensive and since is made from fiber it is easy to damage the blade if you hit the table. Overall the blade is excellent, definitely for the pro players which I am not but it fits for my stile of playing.
