TableTennisDaily has been running a voting poll which now has over 150 votes to find out who struck the best table tennis shot in 2011. It has been neck and neck in the race to find out the best shot of 2011. The top two positions have varied between Ding Ning’s epic shot which spun the ball back onto her own side, and Vladimirs Samsonov’s famous passing backhand shot. Ding Ning is just topping the poll now which stands at 31 votes to Samsonov’s 29. Cazuo’s famous backshot is in at 24 votes and in 3rd poll, can he catch up?
