I use the penhold grip ..mostly using my fh for chops /blocking ... RBH is for flicking mostly but i tend to get better at it
I play kinda short and and loop with my fh
i need rubbers that have good controll and spin and efficent speed that r balanced with the blade ... excuse my english i am from dubai ???? and thanks for your time

I am willing to purchase some equipment from ttmode.com website, where I find the price is highly reduced as compared to tt11 and others. I wanted to know about the quality of the service of ttmode. Is it as good as tt11? and can I trust ttmode? Do anyone have any experience with ttmode? if so kindly share.

Thanks

The usual consensus with ph blades is 5 ply all wood 85g or less. With Chinese tacky fh and soft light European style for bh. I read that in China stiga blade, hurricane iii and sriver fx is most popular for example. But it depends on what you want in your setup. Flex vs hardness etc

I can recommend the Dr. Neubauer Firewall Plus (as it is what I am currently using). If you play over-close to the table, Firewall Plus is the thing.

Advantages:
1. Great for over-close to the table game.
2. Passive/aggressive blocking is excellent.
3. Good chopping.
4. Flat hitting and smashing is great.
5. Can do the occasional loop near the table.
6. Also great for pips-out rubber game.

Disadvantages:
1. A little inconsistent due to non-linear power of a balsa wood. Great control in slow to mid speed but when hitting hard it tends to be inconsistent, not recommended for mid-far distance game.
2. If forced to play into a far distance game, there's not much you can do but lob the ball and hope for the best.
3. Takes sometime to learn.
