In the last set, once FZD raced ahead, XX started playing exhibition style. Not lobbing but trying impossible shots and quite a few of them landed. And as you said FZD was like - OK, I can handle it and returned them to create a bigger spectacle. Such a monster, he is in current form.

At one point FZD seemed beaten by XX and a little boost from his good star further he won

This FZD and XX was one of the most unreal matches I've ever seen. If FZD continue on this streak, I honestly can't see much competition against him. Truly amazing.

After winning M12, ZYL still didn't get selected to play any Doubles event for German Open.

WD: DN/SYS, CM/WMY
MD: LGY/ML, FZD/Zhou Yu

Seems like SYS is ahead of CM for now too. We shall see.
