Hi everyone, today i removed my fh rubber from the blade and the blade first layer splittered on the center, i can see the second layer. So a need a new blade, i know a blade can last years in some cases but i dont have enough mone to buy any blade more than 50 euros or 55 dollars. I was using a Hurricane Hao 656 (Hurricane hao 2) and i like the caractheristcs of this blade and specially his larger size, if you compare this blade to a YEO for example, is larger, i have some big hands and i am a chinese penholder so my fingers touch the bh rubber. Anyone has suggestions?

Yasaka Goiabao 5? It's a very underrated blade no one talks about. The top ply is different to Hurricane 656, it is harder than koto, it's maybe rosewood?
C-Pen should have larger head size. As far as I know chinese like it is dirt cheap. 30-40EUR-ish.

Yes, I have tried a few before, it's a really nice blade actually. It's like a faster more direct version of the YEO. Sometimes clubmates ask me to recommend them a good, fast allwood blade on the cheap and Goiabao is my first idea. If they want a more slower blade I recommend a Lebesson from Tibhar or a Mizuno Fortius. These all have pretty good handles and are very cheap.

Another pretty solid blade is the Cornilleau Gauzy Quest off or maybe now it's called Talisman but the availability of it is really crap and I am not even sure if it has a Cpen version. I usually recommend this to people looking for a light smaller-headed blade.

About the Goiabao you can read more here, I only tested the ones I made for others so I don't have extensive knowledge but it's a good one on the cheap.

It is a blade with a great value for the money. But I have to respectfully disagree. Goiabao 5 has a muted feeling due to its thickness and hard top ply. Feedback to the hand is unclear. Speed is good. Flex is low
