Booster in winter.

Hello, I'm currently living in the cold region. It is -15°C outside. I'm gonna order a bottle of booster. Can low temperature somehow affect the booster?

I've ordered it once in winter and it came in a very "interesting" state.
It was consisting of two substances: very fluid part and denser part. After mixing these two with the brush that it comes with, it became like water in terms of density.

Overall, I think it lost some of it's properties: it evaporates much faster than the one that I ordered during summer time, it is much more 'fluid' (like water).

Oh and yes, it was regular Haifu Seamoon.
May be other booster like Falco Tempo Long react differently.

I do not recommend ordering booster and glue at low outside temperatures, it will be destroyed!!!

Sorry if I may ask another question: If I order a new bottle of booster and I don't open it or use it for a year, will it turn bad too?

Nothing happens with an unopened bottle. Even if it is opened, it will last for one year.

a friend of mine, had a bottle from when Falco was still the previous name.
it was 1990s...
that bottle still worked fine... haha

I have maybe 40ml of seamoon left in a bottle. I put it in the freezer, and after it melt at room temperature i dosen't seem to have changed in appearance.

I use the speed glue now and yes it gives a good effect. The main problem is that it doesn't last long. And for me it's kind of expensive. So I'm interested in boosting

INCORRECT ! The bottle of Seamoon I got last August is at least 2/3 full.
I have always made sure that immediately after use the lid was screwed back on, nevertheless
the the stuff is now useless. After 3 good layer of seamoon that is all we get.

I really don't know, players from the world rankings and the Extraliga buy Seammon from us and there was no problem even though we had it in stock for more than a year. It looks more like a fake, or already bad from the factory.

What other rubbers have you tried with your "not so good" bottle

Not every rubber sponge reacts in the same way. A sponge with large pores responds with very little deflection.

Sure but the booster stopped working on rubbers where it used to work fine. Oh, and I don't do large pore sponges.

Hey again! So, the booster had arrived. I ordered a bottle of Seamoon but not when the temperature was that cold. 0°C was outside. And at first it was consisting of two substances too
I was afraid but when opened it it wasn't fluid, it was like snot. I think that's ok.



I have played with a boosted(1 layer) Bloom Arc 47 and Geospin Tacky. GT felt very good. Very grippy, enough bouncy and it saved the feeling. While Bloom Arc felt like MXP . Very fast with good control topspin-topspin loops. But opening up from backspin is awful. The top sheet became mushy I had to use the sponge more. I think that's because GT's topsheet is really hard and the booster just a bit softened it while BA's topsheet was pretty soft without booster and became more tensioned loosing some grippiness. Is that ok?



I think I'll keep using booster because the pluses are bigger than the minuses but I need smth harder for FH, maybe Battle 2 Gold

Ok so you're an "expert" in TT products but you don't remember that Falco Tempo was speed glue only in the 90's ? not booster ?

i keep my seamoon in the fridge now, as my previous bottle became useless with 2/3 still in the closed bottle.

Very strange. I have Seamun stored for more than a year at room temperature and it works the same way all the time
