Hi! I am currently using a Bluefire M1 on my fh. I want a slightly slower and spinnier rubber. I was thinking about the Donic Bluegrip C2 and the Tibhar Hybrid K3, but I heard they are very difficult to use. I was also thinking about the Tibhar Genius... So if you could please either compare the rubbers above to the M1 or recommend me other rubbers, I would be really happy.

I have never tried neither Bluegrip C2 nor Bluefire M1 and never seen you playing TT. But I play with K3 for a while. I cannot say that it is difficult to use it (since it is slower than MXP and MXD which I used before and is more linear and predictable). The only problem is that it will be like 5 degrees harder than Bluefire M1, not sure whether you like it or not, probably should be ok on FH.
It is more about whether you have proper technique and whether you physically in a good shape, if you want to get good speed out of it. I actually ended up getting faster blade (it is also tb alc, but just heavier and faster than the one I used before)

Requirement: Slower but more spinny rubber compared to M1.

Recommendation: Donic Baracuda. Its marketing tagline is rubber with a vicious spin.

Why the Haha emoji Next?

Baracuda is my first taste of ESN / Tension rubber and also my first taste of Euro / German rubber. It is like tasting Sauerkraut for the first time and then liking it.

Isn't Baracuda a very bouncy and uncontrollable rubber? And can I play full powered shots without an excellent technique?

Baracuda is certainly bouncy and it is quite sensitive to spin, but in a more predictable way. I think it's quite easy to play with if you're coming from other faster rubbers.

Ok but is it good on the backhand? How does it compare to Bluefire M2?
I guess I'll expressed unpopular opinion, but I didn't like Baracuda on bh when I tried it. Maybe because I came from Tenergy 05 to it, and many people claimed that it is a good replacement for it, but I couldn't get consistent backhand with it. Sometimes ball landed on a table, but sometimes it went to net when I was sure it should be good. I understand that it was about my strokes, but I couldn't get used to it within 6 month and 2 sheets of Baracuda and it worked with other rubbers

K3 durability - I cannot say that it is very durable, it is better than mx-p though and changes its properties slower, probably due to harder sponge or maybe they put less amount of booster in it

What thickness Baracuda did you try?

I wonder if it might be color. I have it in max with a blue color and I feel that it's pretty consistent. But I also have it on a 5 ply wood, perhaps it might act a bit more inconsistently on a different blade

I have the same problem with my M2, a lot of my balls jump into the net, even though I don't feel it's slow... I heard that the Fastarc G-1 could solve this problem, I've never tried it, but I'm scared it would be too hard for my backhand. So what would you recommend me for the backhand

I suppose mine were consistent too. Just backhand wasn't, i.e. I was producing two different types of it and barracuda was suitable just for one of them

I can see that you have written review for Barracuda. Have you tried it on backhand or forehand? If your impressions differ from mine, then probably you shouldn't listen to my recommendations. Also I didn't try lots of modern rubbers, and none of them was on a soft side.
