How similar are DHS Long 5 and Fang Bo Carbon?

Does FBC have the same deep hold as Long 5? or is there any other composite blade that has such deep hold?
I got a good deal for a Long 5 but I’m a bit hesitant about it.

They are very similar. A friend who I play with often has both of them and says they play exactly the same.

Yes, FBC has a nice dwelly hold on the ball.

Sanwei F3 Pro is even flexier and holds the ball more.

By hold you mean dwell time? I have only two DHS blades, Hao III and Long 5X, Hao 3 is higher control and i feel it gives even better placement for me, while L5X is just a rocket linear launch weapon, if i don't have good skills and techniques then i should forget about control, definitely less control than Hao III but higher speed and spin.
