I'm thinking what new equipment to get i used xiom vega euro df (FH) and xiom vega euro on (BH) with xiom extreme S as the blade. I've checked out some new equipment and found this: xiom omega asia V (FH) and Rakza 7 (BH) with DHS hurricane 301 as the blade. I play offense so I'm intrested if any of you have a opinion, recommendation or a review on my new setup. I still didn't buy anything but I'm looking for something below or around 150 euros.

Do you not like the extreme S? If nothing stands out, I would suggest experimenting with rubbers only first.
Vega Euro (and DF) are soft rubbers - 37.5 and 42.5 sponge hardness. Omega Asia V and Rakza 7 would be harder - 50 and ~47. I think Rakza 7 is worth a try, but Omega Asia V might be too big of a jump (unless you have tried someone else's and like it, then it it fine). I would suggest Donic Baracuda instead, which I personally like for its good spin & control, and it is about 45-47 sponge hardness.

thanks for the reply. there's nothing wrong with the extreme s it' just that i accidentally chipped the forehand side and the blade pretty badly since i was messing around and tried loop killing a low ball. thanks for the advice though

Hi
That's a very decent setup you have already.
What do you specifically want to achieve by changing it, what are you looking for that your current setup doesn't give? Is the current setup too fast or too slow?

Those are also good options you have listed but I have only played Rakza 7, it's a very good rubber and is good for control and development of strokes.
I can't imagine there is a huge difference between the blades there in terms of speed although the 301 is probably a tad more direct/stiff.

If you can describe better what you are trying to achieve in your play, your level and your play style it will be easier for folks to give you good advice.

I tried achieving more of a chinese setup like hard rubber and flexible blade

5 ply blades are probably a good place to start then.
The Butterfly Pete Korbel or Primorac are great blades for feeling and won't break the bank.
Are you interested to try actual Chinese Rubbers?
I recommend the Yinhe Big Dipper, Yinhe Jupiter Asia 3 and DHS Hurricane 3 Neo as great FH rubbers and all can be had for ~$15 each (in various choice sponge hardness) on Ali Express.
For BH the Rakza 7 is a good choice too.
I have bought (again €15 on Ali Express) a Yinhe Moon 12 Blue as it has been used by many in here with good success but I haven't actually tried it yet!

Others are making good suggestions, but my 2 cents are that the setup you’re considering is great and you can’t go wrong with it.

The dhs 301 and rakza 7 in particular are both very popular and well suited to a wide range of play styles/levels.

Just be careful to seal the 301 because it can splinter easily when removing rubbers.

I considered buying the hurricane 3 but I'm kinda afaid it will be to slow so i chose not to get it.
Yeah, it should be boosted so maybe that's a bit of hassle.
The 2 Yinhe rubbers are factory boosted so they're good to go out of the box.
I like them both but only got them 2 wks ago soni need more hours with them before I would say more.
