I've been training for one year, i use a Rozena on my fh on a Petr Korbel, i've been wanting to move to a more advanced rubber but still all round, about my playstyle i like blocking , smashing and spinning (basically an all round playstyle) so i've been thinking about buying the Nittaku Fastarc G-1, but i aint sure, do u guys think that would be a good option or would u recommend something else?

It seems good upgrade but if you write what you like in rozena and what you expect from a new rubber (even what you can sacrifice), it would be easier and accurately to recommend. Even though dozens of rubbers might be candidate.

G1 might be bit heavier than rozena, and definitely harder.
For example If you want just speed and spin upgrade you might go to tenegy series. (Similar hardness and weight)
Let say if you want max spin disregarding all other properties, then it’s another story.

Hi Andres,
Do you have any video footage of yourself playing?
This will give us a much better insight to your standard and level of play. To give advice without knowing you or seeing how you play is, to a certain extent pointless. Everyone will be guessing or basing their reply on unknown factors!! happens a lot on forums!!
If you don’t, then take the advice given with a pinch of salt, as it’s a ‘personal’ opinion. Although if a lot of people say the same thing, then it’s likely the advice is pretty sound.

Well, i like rozenas control and grip, i expect the new rubber to be a little bit spinnier and faster but with great control for passive shots, basically an better all rounder tha rozena

Tenergy would be the natural upgrade path, but G1 is also solid (and cheaper). It's less bouncy than Tenergy so you get less "easy power". I haven't played enough with G1 recently enough with Tenergy to tell if there's a difference at the top end of power. G1 has pretty good control though - but the bulk of your control is going to come from experience/skill than the rubber.

I've considered Tenergy but i've tried it and i feel really difficult to use it on passive shots and blocks :(

G1 is good. Rozena is good. Petr Korbel is good. No need to mess with perfection...

How about retain Rozena for BH & G1 for FH.

If you're thinking about changing from Rozena to Tenergy or Fastarc remember that you might loose control in short game and in passive shots. I downgraded from Viscaria to Acoustic and from Tenergy to Rozena and my short game improved, my passive shots improved and I have more control against high spin balls from antitop or topspin.
So If you want to change to a spinnier rubber remember, that you sometimes might have to work even harder to get the ball on the table. Have you thought about getting a thicker sheet of Rozena or are you already playing the 2.1 version?

No rubber can give you the control, on contrary a rubber challenges you and takes out the control from you, so less responsiveness, speed and spin -> more control, vice versa.

I also like Rozenas flat hits i would like the new rubber to be good for smashes too
So if you like flat hits, majority of hybrid and Chinese rubbers can fall out of our scope.
tenergy, fastarc, dignic etc will give you that.

I've considered Tenergy but i've tried it and i feel really difficult to use it on passive shots and blocks :(
It because Tenergy is much more spinnier, faster and responsive, fastarc G1 is less responsive and less easy to create spin so it's easier to use than tenergy, still more high-end spin and speed than rozena, if it's what you look for. But I'm repeating, its harder rubber so you need work on bit more effort to generate spin and speed than Tenergy.

But i was thinking about either tenergy 64 or tenergy 19, which One would u recommend?

I haven't used 64 but using 19 which is spinier option but generally said that 64 is easier to use, and better in flat shots and less spin sensitivity, of course less spin capacity. But I prefer t19 for easier spin creation to get an edge on matches while knowing I need more training on my block and serve receive technique.

FYI: I'm not giving advice for your skill or technique level, just based on your preference.
Otherwise, I may recommend using rozena until you master your technique that can adjust Tenergy or other monsters in couple sessions. (you don't need to take on yourself, it's just a disclaimer)
