SANWEI NOVA Carbon is coming!

How would you describe the Flex in that blade?
Does the Kiri core have a Thickness about 3mm and why Kiri instead of Ayous?
What are the rubber suggestions from Sanwei for this blade?
And last but not least, did you build NOVA Carbon especially for this 3+2 Modell Variant or does this beginn a new series of NOVA blades?
ANd What is the difference in your opinion on NOVA Carbon instead of say the most common Variants (which are numerous),and why one would choose this instead of A Bty Ishlion,Amultart,or the Hinotec series.
Hello bro,

Thank you for your detailed questions:

How would you describe the Flex in that blade?

For general blades, the Flex of NOVA Carbon is relatively low. My personal experience is that it is a blade that focuses on explosive power and speed. The ball will directly hit the surface and pop out quickly.

Does the Kiri core have a Thickness about 3mm and why Kiri instead of Ayous?

Ayous is a denser wood. The hinoki surface and NOVA Carbon we used are hard enough. In order to retain a certain control of the blade, we used a 1.5mm thick hinoki surface. If we used the Ayous core the control, spin and ball-holding of this blade would be not very good.

What are the rubber suggestions from Sanwei for this blade?

Because I have only used sanwei rubber on NOVA Carbon, I can only talk about my personal experience. For most people, the two-sided Gear Hyper is a good choice, with one side 39° and one side 37°. This will give you nice spin, first speed and power. Can also perform good looping.

If you have better basic skills and more advanced competition pursuits, you can replace the 39° Gear Hyper with the boosted Sanwei New Target National. Of course this is only suitable for players with very very good basic skills.

And last but not least, did you build NOVA Carbon especially for this 3+2 Modell Variant or does this beginn a new series of NOVA blades?

Sorry, I may not fully understand the question. NOVA Carbon and Cannon Carbon are in the same series and belong to the SANWEI ULTRA TECH series.

ANd What is the difference in your opinion on NOVA Carbon instead of say the most common Variants (which are numerous),and why one would choose this instead of A Bty Ishlion,Amultart,or the Hinotec series.

Regarding this issue, unfortunately, out of respect for other brands of blades and because I have not used these blades myself, I cannot give a very accurate judgment. I think compared to the Cannon Carbon (same structure), my feeling is that the NOVA Carbon has better control and ball-holding, thanks to its 1.5mm hinoki surface and NOVA Carbon fiber. Likewise, its speed and power transmission are excellent. It is true that its first speed is not as fast as Cannon Carbon, but it has surpassed most blades. The above improvements are all derived from feedback sent by our sponsored players in high-level events.

which Hinoki is used in those Blades?
It isn´t Kiso Hinoki i assume?
Cause there are a lot of variants of Cypresses as hinoki is,out there,
The Cannon Carbon has a thicker Kiri Core,Heavy Carbon and not as thick outer Hinoki Plies.

Can we Expect more of that Structure from the SANWEI ULTRA TECH series in the Future?
As i said i was asking, cause Sanwei produces anatomic handle even when it is not listed as I apllaud again!
So i am interested in this Series myself Cause there was hope that maybe a single ply will come out,as H10 is out of Stock.

Good morning,

As you said, the surface hinoki of NOVA Carbon is Canadian hinoki. In fact, just from my personal point of view, there is no big difference in the physical properties of various hinoki.

Of course, if our fans like this design, why don't we design more?

To be honest, hinoki is used in many fields due to its good physical properties. The production of H10 requires a large piece of hinoki, but the large piece of hinoki required by SANWEI to produce H10 will be given priority by wood suppliers to industries with greater demand.

Can I buy it in Taobao? Could you please give me the link ?

Here my quick review. It almost like a inner carbon blade due to how thick the outer Hinoki ply is. It is pretty stiff but not that fast. It feels a bit like a stiff wood blade and does not have the top end speed I need for my game. Spin is decent and counters can be deadly but it requires the energy of your opponent or your own if you are very fit. It is noticeably slower than my BTY Ovtcharov and Stiga Inspira Hybrid Carbon, maybe OFF-. I think something like the Sanwei Hynover is more my speed but the handle on the Hynover is too short for me.

hello, what is this blade's composition? What is the thickness? Does it have vibration feedback?

Hello, bro

After using it more with my professional athlete friends, I have some new feelings.

For NOVA Carbon, the thickness of kiri core is 4.2mm. As we all know, Ayous is very hard as a core, and the thickened Hinoki surface and NOVA Carbon fiber of NOVA Carbon are already hard enough. If an equally hard Ayous core is used, the deformation of this blade will become very low, which will indirectly affect the control and second speed of this blade.

Here is my personal experience.

First, my friend (professional player) glued Target Blue (SANWEI's hardest forehand rubber) on his forehand. He hit it with a sharp sound and the first speed was surprisingly fast. Then he changed to Target National and glued it on his forehand. The ball speed slowed down a little, but the second speed was faster, and the ball had a very fast spin.

Since he plays the traditional Chinese professional style, he basically executes very few chop in a round, so he thinks this forehand configuration is very good.

But when it was my turn to try it, I found that this configuration was too hard and bouncy, so it was difficult to chop the ball to where I wanted it, and it was difficult to chop when I was away from the table. So I switched to the Gear Hyper 39° for my forehand. The effect was obvious, so it became easier for me to perform looping and chopping, but at the same time, it was difficult for me to hit the ball with the same great lethality as my friend.

For backhand, first of all, we do not recommend any rubber other than pimple in rubber. When I used Gear Hyper 37°, I was able to barely control the ball's landing point and perform good backhand chopping, so I switched to Taiji 2023 large-pore cake sponge, which is close to the European and Japanese style. This feels just right for me, and it is easy for me to bring out the performance of NOVA Carbon through the backhand. Therefore, I personally recommend that you look for a European-style softer cake sponge with its backhand configuration.

I currently use Taiji 2023 for my backhand, and followed my friend's advice I switched to New Target National for my forehand. Although it is sometimes difficult to cross the net, after I became proficient, the high-speed rotating low-angle looping is really great!

For your third question, we put it in the Ultra Tech series, which currently has Cannon Carbon and Nova Carbon.

Regarding your last question, it is difficult for me to comment on other brands of blades because I have not tried them. My personal feeling is that first of all, its surface is 1.5mm hinoki. This gives it the dual properties of a pure wood blade and a carbon blade, which is amazing. When I use it passively, it is like a pure wood blade, and the ball does not have strong power and first speed. But when you use it to actively exert force with Chinese hard rubber to hit the ball (especially like my friend who hits it with full force), you can hear a very sharp sound similar to a carbon blade, which shows that the power is transmitted to the entire racket.

At the same time, because NOVA Carbon Fiber is a very strong fiber, when the force rebounds to the fiber layer, the ball will gain an explosive first speed. (I have experienced it before. When I fought back the opponent's ball with full force, the ball was accelerated to an unusual speed and hit a position far away from the table with almost no spin).

I think this is a very unusual point, and it is possible that some blades from other brands have the same characteristics, but unfortunately I have not tried them, so I can‘t comment on them.

hello, can you please answer about sanwei vita alc? What is the layer composition in this blade? What is the total thickness of the blade? Does it have vibrations?

Hello bro,

Sorry that I only know the structure of our blades in our international product line.

Our international product line refers to those blades that appear on our official website.

I'm sorry for not being able to help you.
