After boosting many rubbers I have found some rubbers have a strong reaction and some have a small reaction. By reaction, I mean a big increase in rebound and performance.

I found that Loki GTX and Friendship Aurora had the strongest reaction: 5/5

Rhyzen ZGR had a very good reaction: 4/5

Hurricane 3 has an average reaction: 3/5. I think most dense sponge Chinese rubbers tend to fall in this category.

Dragon Grip had a mild reaction, but its fast to begin with: 1/5

Which other rubbers have you found that have a remarkable reaction to booster? It's so much fun to take a underperforming rubber and transform in with just booster.

I only tried boosting GTX and hybrid K1 so far.
I never tried GTX without booster but its extremely fast and spinny with for sure.
K1 was a joke..... I cant feel a difference between boosted or non boosted. and thats despite it was arching/bending the sheet as much as the GTX did. I dont understand the mechanics of this as it doesnt make sense to me.

rebound and performance

i think one can define rebound by using a measurement method, like a ruler....

but how do you measure a performance?
no disrespect, but when you say you boost something, and it out performs a H3, for example.
then I kindof don't take your performance radar that serious any more.

as I said before, if those (other rubbers) is that "good", then why is no one using it, in the pro space.
just think about that.

one of those i commented on, for example is Big Dipper, and I was with pros testing it, and they just can't get the kick at high gear shots. no booster can fix that.

So my conclusion from being on TTD over the years is performance radar, will differ based on the players level.

Apart from the "strong" reaction, longevity / durability of the boosting effect would also be interesting to note.

Which of the rubbers keep their boosting effect for the longest time?
And how fast is their drop-off once it starts.

Its hard to "objectively" notice as it progresses more gradually.

I assume the 5$, Mercury 2 wont stay "boosted" for long, right?

JESUS LOVES YOU ALL, BUT STIPULATING TO ...

Jesus also taught people that those who commit nasty sins and boosting rubbers persistently will receive eternal punishment in hell. And they got indignant, and they nailed Him up on the top of the hill. Yet, Jesus then happily resurrected in a blaze of glory.

Jesus loves you all in hope people will eventually redeem their sins by rejecting the fraudulence of rubber boosting.

To me, boosting is mostly permanent.

i am not an EJ (i am a cheapskate) but here r my experiences ever since i had seamoon.

reactor tornado v5 is better with booster but i find it to be too soft for the FH. otherwise, it has nice spin. it is pretty damn good on BH after the tackiness wears off a little.

reactor thunder already came factory boosted but i like to put additional 2 thin layers on a new sheet. it also played better when boosted (obviously the magic juice makes everything better)

the spin is pretty remarkable and the speed is really good too, a bit too much for me to handle sometimes when put on an outer carbon blade. the sponge dies after 3 months if u play a lot like i do (2-3 days a week for two hrs minimum) esp boosted.

so there's the underrated reactor rubbers (thanks yogi bear for the recommendation)..... and then there's the 729 battle lineup i have a love-hate relationship with.

i dont recommend people boost battle 2 blue sponge bc it already plays well(?) out of the package unboosted.

there is not much reaction to seamoon, even with the prov orange. the only noticeable difference is that they're faster and feels softer after boosting. spin remains the same. the already low throw angle (throw angle is a bit iffy of a topic to me) became even lower.

battle max pro is the same. i havent used b2 gold, national bs and b3 yet.

i am looking forward to DHS rubbers to see if they're really all that, but it is surprisingly hard to get my hands on a sheet of skyline 2 outside of tt11.

I have a Stiga DNA Platinum H in my Ovtcharov Alc. It feels very hard for my backhand and I'm not at all liking it. Can I boost it? Does it softens and improves the quality?
yes you can boost it. It might soften just a little bit. I don't think this is the type of rubber that will have a big reaction to booster.

But since you don't like it already, you can just try and boost it.
