"Prewarned is prearmed"

GLANTI IS GROWING A REAL CONCERN.

As a long-standing lttf contributor i'm admitted to ittf expert conversations. The issue of "frictionless" anti rubbers is a real concern and is now under discussion within ITTF.

Ittf is now prone towards banning the low friction materials with reduced surface traction such as glanti rubbers and those pips-in rubbers that have lost original traction too much.

We have now got a variety of handy instruments to easily detect low-friction materials by umpires.

How about banning the illegal serves first? I am tempted to think it is a bigger "concern" than something the pros would easily deal with and not meaning a concern to the "fun" of this game.

DRAFT PROPOSAL TO UPDATE THE ITTF M4

-- 🆙 Friction for Pimples-in and Anti.

-- For any part of the playing surface the kinetic CoF must be at least 0.25, which corresponds to a sliding angle of 15° in the tests using an inclination stand (slope plane).

RATIONALE.
This given provision is foremost aiming to prevent players from using substandard coverings far below original traction. Again, all the "frictionless" ANTI rubbers (close to zero traction) should be prohibited from the sport as deceptive materials purposely designed to confuse an opponent by producing haphazard and erratic ball bounce impossible to recognize (unpredictable ball bounce is known to breed unforced errors in plenty).

We don't want our sport to take character of a game of chance, а kind of hit-and-miss Funfair lottery.

If what you're talking about is this document, the friction testing it refers to is for pimpled rubbers. Cured pimpled rubbers are already prohibited, and ANTI rubbers themselves are not of the pimpled type. In other words, this document has nothing to do with ANTI rubbers. Could you please act like an adult and read carefully instead of mixing everything together, talking to yourself, and spamming everywhere? It's really annoying.

Furthermore, the rubbers used by the moderator and the rubbers I used in my previous articles during that spamming incident were all ITTF certified. Are you selectively turning a blind eye?

He is just fake, turning all his hatred towards something that does not qualify as a danger of the game taking over. Antis and pimples, unfortunately or fortunately will never take over the top levels of table tennis, since it is now all about the quicker and quicker game, all out attacking.

You are right, but for us amateurs, we won't reach the highest level even if we use non-pimpled rackets. So, having fun playing table tennis and promoting more ways to play to attract more people to the sport is great. Some of those new players might even work towards becoming future world champions. Compared to other sports, there are too few people playing table tennis, so we need more participants.

In response to QuanQuan's indecent post afore here.

Dear Sir,

Your present commentary is an apparent display of your poor competence of the "friction issue".
Please, be aware that a testing instrument to check players rackets for friction limits is now existing in different versions. We don't need anything more.

Again, please have decency to not call people a spammer. Stay calm. Learn properly physics and mechanics of rubber materials.

So pathetic. Can't you tell that the device is meant for testing pimpled rubbers? What's the point of a 12-second video? And do you even understand the video title? Do I need to explain again that anti-spin rubbers are not the same as pimpled rubbers? I think you're just selectively blind. Your comprehension skills are really lacking. By the way, were your previous comments really that polite? Do you think deleting your posts means they never happened?
