Is baby oil good booster?

I'm considering baby oil for booster but idk. This crazy guy said its better than the cheap haifu seamoon you get on aliexpress. I need your thoughts!!!

What I can contribute is that a well known player used it back in the day, when speed-glueing just got banned, on classic rubbers (Speedy Spin).

A friend of mine still uses it to make his Hurricane 8 a little softer and eleastic, don´t think much else happens.

It does have an effect, but if that is the effect you desire you can only find out by trying.

I think about 4 months or so. But again, there is no catapult boosted effect.

At most, it helps the rubber hold onto the ball longer, so if you are a good looper, you may find some benefit.

The old school rule holds, "Equal chemical resosolves equal chemical". If You rubber is made primarily of paraffin oil, yes it works if not no it doesn't. Boosting is generally destroying a part of the rubber...
I have used paraffin oil for woodwork too and it works just like baby oil (on certain rubbers). However mostly rubbers contain also other compounds which is unaffected by paraffin oil. I have experimented with other fluids such as as
Aceton, white spirits turpentine but they do nothing good at all....

So the short answer is "Yes a little bit for certain rubbers". Don't ask me which ones. To skip the pain get a real booster. Seamon works for most Chineese rtubbers. I never boost ESN rubbers, they are not intended for this...
