I am thinking about getting a new jpen rpb setup:
Blade-nittaku sou mf r
Forehand-xiom vega japan
Backhand-xiom Vega Europe hybrid
Is this any good?
Open to any suggestions for rubbers or blades.
Thanks
What are You playing now?
I think that blade is thin for a one ply JP.

The one ply blades are all about speed and less about spin so You would want at least 9mm I think.

Currently using a thinner yinhe carbon jpen blade
I have a Nittaku Excellent-P jpen which I am using for some summer fun (I play shakehand). I stripped the cork on the backside and put on long pips. (Rakza 7 on FH) It is 9mm and super fast, but I still wouldn't want anything thinner...
I suspect the "great feeling" diminishes when the thickness goes down, and this is the only advantage with a one ply as I see it.

i think Jpen rpb blade shouldn't be too thick

i've tried cpen 6.8mm blades and it is terrible
so, i'm not sure how those thick jpen would even feel like.... i'm no expert in this (i'm a cpen player)
I can assure You they feel great, but they MUST be one ply...

Cheers
