Interested in XIOM rubbers (specially Jekyll & Hyde)

Hello TTD community!
I've been looking for FH and BH rubbers and after arduous search I've found that XIOM rubbers would be a very good option for 2 reasons:
1. It's easy to get rubbers locally and most top players in my country are sponsored by XIOM, maybe I could be next who knows 😁
2. The new Jekyll & Hyde series has very good reviews. They even have hybrids like H52.5 and C55 which could go well for my FH.
The problem is that I've got some experience with XIOM rubbers and idk why but their feeling is just "different" from the rest, not necessarily bad, just different. I tried Vega Asia in my first year and Omega VII Asia some months ago (latter just for one session so not quite enough practice).
I'd like to ask people who play/played with XIOM, did you have the same "weird" feeling? If so, did it have any impact in your game or you just had to get used to it? Also, If you've tried Jekyll & Hyde, your reviews and insights are welcome.

I do not have experience with Jekyll & Hyde. I have played with Xiom Vega Pro, Vega X, Vega Japan, Vega Asia and Vega Europe. They all play just fine.

For the faster rubbers, definitely both Xiom Vega Pro and Vega X are fast. I don't know why I never liked Vega X that much. I like Vega Pro better. And Vega Pro does play like a mini- toned-down version of Tenergy 05. No so complaint there.

Vega Japan and Vega Europe play similarly to other ESN rubbers with similar sponge softness like C-1, Acuda S2, Barracuda, etc.

Vega Europe is the softness and the slowest so I use it to tone down fast outer carbon blades for me and I am pretty happy with it.

Finally, I recently put on a sheet of Vega Omega VII Euro on my backhand just to test out a little harder rubber. And as advertised, it played like the way it should.

No complaints.

I've tried Jekyll and Hyde V47.5 and X47.5

The V47.5 I thought was fairly typical of the latest batch of ESN rubbers, quite similar to something like Andro Rasanter R48 for example.
The X47.5 was different. It is a fast rubber and the catapault effect seems to kick in at a different point to anything I've used recently, which I found made it quite unpredictable. I'm sure I could have got used to it, but it would have taken quite a while to adjust. I gave it to a friend who uses slower and softer blades than me and he seems to be getting on better with it.

I don't think these Vega series rubbers have any particular feeling compared to other ESN's rubbers. I like Xiom rubber just fine. Tibhar evolutions series do have more bounce than Vega series. That is not necessary a good thing or a bad thing. For example, I still prefer the control of Vega Asia, Vega Japan over EL-P, EL-S, MX-P, and FX-D.

I didn't use them for long enough to really tell, however the X47.5 is still on my friends blade after 3 or 4 months and looks fine, so I think they are at least as good as other non-hybrid ESN rubbers

Vega asia is more dead like tenergy 64. Thats why it feels weird, because of the soft topsheet, it gives in easily.

Try C55 on forehand and Omega 7 Pro/Asia for backhand. I'm still waiting on the Omega 8 Pro.
