This depends on your skill level. If you are a good looper, definitely the Hard version.
I recently used fastarc g-1 is it harder to use than that I found fastarc very good and have though about trying tenergy a few times
fast arc g1 is good too for jpen. it should be bouncy, so that you can get pace with your traditional backhand shots. otherwise, it is too slow
I agree i now use a evolution mx-s but am upgrading blade and it is not same shape so need a new rubber I like mx-s but want to still try other rubbers
“Classic” Jpen is generally considered to be the square blade. Curious about what brand and shape you had and what you’re changing to? Are you using single ply Hinoki?

i have used a limited editions yinhe carbon jpen blade that I paid £65 for like 8 months which is square and the one I am upgrading to is the butterfly cypress t-max which is 1 ply but a slightly different square shape it should be better

Agree. You can use whatever rubber you want with it. Does the rubber pair well with your blade? Do you like to loop or do you like to smash. Chinese rubbers are better for looping but less for smashing. So if you are a smasher, maybe some sort of Tenergy or ESN rubber would be a better fit. If you are a looper, maybe Hurricane 3 is a better fit.
I never knew that JPen has material other than one ply hinoki. This Asian Ojisan learn something new today.
Right I have this blade and have used it for a few months I like it a lot I am not a top top player but at a ok level I can give you a ok break down what do you currently use and I can try and compare best as possible.

Ok I have never used a speed 15 I would really like to but I can try my best to compare. So I think your speed 15 may have superior dwell control and most likely a higher quality of wood with its age. However the tigersword gold is a slightly stiffer and more crisp and probably a bit heavier around 94g average and more top end power and I think the most fair price for it compared to g max and speed 90. But wood quality is same level but lower but all depends with wood variation.
