PG5X is an excellent blade but it has little in common with the 2 blades you mentioned. And if so what are your thoughts? Compared for example to a Timo Boll ALC or A Korbel
Which handle is thicker, between Korbel and PG5x?Not much difference with korbel, a little more vibration/ball feel I would say. It's pretty fast and flexible. The handle is pretty thin. Timo boll alc is a lot stiffer, has less vibrations/muted feel, faster, produces less of an arc when looping.
I haven't tried the Fang Bo 2X, and I am asking for differences between these because the alc and the korbel are the only ones I've played with for a long time. I've also played with Maze Magic but it didn't like it at all.PG5X is an excellent blade but it has little in common with the 2 blades you mentioned.
PG5X is a flexible inner carbon blade with 2 soft layers of outer wood. Pretty fast, produces good spin, for me it's pretty similar to Fang Bo 2X, maybe slightly slower with more control.
korbel in ST feels thicker for sure but pg5x I think there is only FL. both FLs are thin as hell, I can't say which one is thicker because both are uncomfortable and too thin to my tasteWhich handle is thicker, between Korbel and PG5x?
This is why I said PG5X has very little in common with TB and Korbel. TB is a fast outer carbon, while Korbel is a wooden blade, and PG5X is inner carbon—they are all very different, imo.I haven't tried the Fang Bo 2X, and I am asking for differences between these because the alc and the korbel are the only ones I've played with for a long time.
