5 min Epoxy resin, then sand it to the desired shape. But it would be heavier then, not much, but more then before.I sanded my blade wings too much now ball arc has reduced ,what can be done to add back that area ,any suggestion pleaseView attachment 32671
Have you tried it ,how will it feel in hands while playing or bh fh transitions?5 min Epoxy resin, then sand it to the desired shape. But it would be heavier then, not much, but more then before.
If you've removed so much material as to impact the playing characteristics as much as you say then I would guess it's impossible to reverse. The resin idea might be your best bet and probably nothing to lose at this stage.I sanded my blade wings too much now ball arc has reduced ,what can be done to add back that area ,any suggestion pleaseView attachment 32671
Actually I bought hurricane long 5 in 2019 but to replace that after sanding too much un 2022 I had changed 3 4 blades including w968 provincial and national but 2019 version was soft and spinny with good throw angle but now new blades are so hard ,the only blade felt same like this is w968 no. 1 version which is 700 euro ,so I want to repair this one.If you've removed so much material as to impact the playing characteristics as much as you say then I would guess it's impossible to reverse. What blade is it anyway?
Can you just buy another one?
Thanks, but I didn't understand how to use this method on wings of blade where middle finger moves and no support like on top of blade 😕Super glue and wood dust, I've made an entire post and go through step by step. It's your best bet. I'll link it at the edit.

A few times with clear epoxy (which needs one hour to harden) and black epoxy with iron dust which is quicker. There is also 5 minutes (really need half an hour, but after a few minutes it can´t be adjusted) clear epoxy for a few bucks. How does it feel? Well, same as wood. there is really no magic behind either of it. It may be softer on the touch if you use smooth sandpaper, but not really much difference since wood is hard and epoxy is hard. Honestly, I am not really sure what am I looking at in the photo. Is that some center of wood that remained, what is that silver part?Have you tried it ,how will it feel in hands while playing or bh fh transitions?
I marked the part[wings near handle ] ,I m talking about ,I sanded it too much and made that small now ball is not going .A few times with clear epoxy (which needs one hour to harden) and black epoxy with iron dust which is quicker. That's probably the best optionI'm sure that a good carpenter could repair it for you, with a small fee
unfortunately we can't actually see how much he's sanded due to the markers, but it's hard to imagine you could sand it enough to make the blade more flexibleI cant imagine how the arc should be lower after sanding. If its impact is that strong on the ball trajectory id expect it to be higher due to more flex!?
