Jpen with sp

Hi all, I just recently bought a vistas sleek on sale, it is a 7 ply wood 7mm width (no idea what wood they use) allround blade. The handle handle and top layer use cork. I am thinking of putting butterfly speedy PR on it. I heard people say Jpen is no good for short pip, however since it is just a 7mm width , not like those one ply honoki thick traditional jpen, should it perform about the same as normal cpen with only one side rubber? Thank you for your help.

Thanks, this girl has good technique but IMHO she is not top or "topish."
I answer myself, I think this girl is a daughter of tacshow. I just bought the complete combination: Multifunction MF R (she plays with P: more rectangular), sonic AR 2.0 and moristo lp one. I haven't tried the moristo lp yet, but the rest: MF R with sonic AR is great, easy, crisp feeling,...

I think: if the girl from tacshow has been using it for years it must be a good combination.

I'm just thinking how much of the blade (and specially the handle) to sand. The handle is very squared, and the material is very strong, it hurts if you do not rotate perfectly on changing from forehand to backhand and vice versa.

I came back to inverted. Now jpen 1 ply hinoki 9 mm with Rakza 7 max

short pips is for people with good timing. I tried since the covid but I stopped 10 months ago because I was doing topspin almost all the time with them.

This June after Gangenung i will try again my Darker speed 10mm and a rubber like mantra pro m or similar. Also I hope to find help on korean players :)
Also I'm curious about the new sanwei su eagle beak.
But since I discovered jpen back sanding and Yoo Nam Kyu videos on how to grip with the thumb deep... now I have few problems with the grip. So ... let Korea enlighten me. :)

Yeah I do think jpen is still the best if you play one-sided penholder.

Yoo Nam Kyu videos helped me a lot too.
