I've used Bluestorm Z3 for a few years on my bh periodically and I've grown to love it's playing characteristics and despise it's durability.

Is there any cheap Chinese rubber with similar properties, hardness but good durability?

(I may or may not have whacked the table on a bh half long open up mid season and don't have money for another German rubber...)

It has a low throw angle, flat trajectory, very high speed, tons of catapult, soft topsheet and has very little sensitivity to spin, and medium grip. I don't care for a speed glue feeling, I know it's an ESN thing, I can make do with good everything else.

Even if the speed and catapult aren't there, I'm fine with it, as long as the grip is ok, no sensitivity and low throw.

Thanks!

Ak47 blue might be best bet.

Reactor ckylin pro was marketed as bluefire clone..but probably performs quite worse

How's the weight for AK47 blue?

Do you know of moon 12? How is it?
I don’t think any version of moon 12 is as soft let alone as fast. Ak47 blue is a good call if you don’t need that much grip and are fine if it’s slower. It’s very light tho.
xiom vega intro is also similar but not as fast

That's very nice then. I don't mind the speed difference, bluestorm helps me with blocking and countering.

Also a focus 3 snipe caught my eye, any experience with that? It has a lot of good reviews but of course no comparisons with bluestorm.

AK47 very light. Under 45g cut for regular size blade but its not even close to Bluestorm
When you say not even close, how is it different? For speed and catapult I don't really mind, I want throw angle, sensitivity and grip.

I mean its totally different rubbers. I understand you are looking for similar to Bluestorm rubber but its not similar. Its more like Vega Europe but slower and less grip. How was throw angel I don't remember ...

AK47 grip and spin are a lot less so your best bet is Vega Intro. Some sights say it’s 47.5 hard but it’s around 42.5 in reality. Perhaps you could give Evolution fxp a try, it’s also similar but I’ve heard the durability is not as great as the others, definitely better than Z3 tho

Moon 12 is great. It performs well and is cheap. The feeling however is very different from bluestorm. The sponge is dense and bouncy. Bluestorm is porous and bouncy. The function is reasonably close, but feeling is different.

Ak47 blue is very light. The performance is quite high. I think it will do 90% as well as z3. For the price, i think it is a big hit. But if you absolutely need that final 10%, you may find ak47 has less grip and slightly less rebound

I'll go with the ak47, it sounds a bit closer to what I'm looking for. Thanks for the input!
