Put together a racket and tested today together with my current setup:
Blade: Neottec Amagi carbon
FH: Nittaku H3 pro turbo Orange
BH: 729 dragon F medium soft

I did this mostly to compare the blade with my other blades and H3 pro turbo with H3 provincial. I used the dragon F as a reference since that’s the same rubber on my current setup.

1) I was surprised to find that H3 turbo pro was very tacky. It holds a ball indefinitely…. This rubber was bought in the end of 2022 and the topsheet must then be of the old kind. I don’t know how the current version is.

2) The blade is slightly faster than my current setup Nittaku S-CZ but not by much. Based on the same rubber on BH.

3) Pro turbo is just as expected faster than H3 prov orange. Close to the table the difference was not huge but far away it was significant. Based on point 2

This setup is significantly heavier and specially top heavy this may have some effect as well.

But the bottom line is that Nittaku pro turbo is living up to expectations of being faster actually in a larger degree than I expected.

I definitely recommend Neottec Amagi carbon since it has a relative low speed.
It has a similar construction as Primorac carbon with a composite layer between the core and the hinoki top (3+2). The lower speed is probably due to a thinner core. It is easy to topspin with because it has a generous amount of flex, much more than my Primorac carbon.

If you can live with the heavy weight and think Your H3 orange is too slow, the H3 pro turbo is an excellent choice.
This is nothing new but I wanted to find out for myself…

Cheers

How does the rubber feel compared to the H3 BS Prov? Aside from being faster.
The comparison was with orange sponge. I haven’t played with Blue sponge much and did not want to make a direct comparison but I believe it’s more reaktive than H3 blue. For me the limiting factor is weight.

I bought Neottec I-carbon or inner carbon 3 weeks ago with DHS Skyline 3 provincial blue FH and bluefire M2 BH. This blade is heavenly. Firstly, the handle. It's thick which is good for big hands and the wood is incredibly porous providing a fantastic grip. The feeling being an inner KLC outer Limba is just exceptional. The dwell time and control is pure pleasure. Admittedly, it's not the fastest but what you lose in speed is made up for in comfort, control and feeling.
