Tibhar Zodiac Libra SAC Flared, DHS Hurricane 3 Provincial 39 d bs (2x Boosted Falco tempo long) on forhand and Butterfly Dignics 80 on backhand. Total weight is 186 grams. This blade feel just right in my hand. More than enough speed, but yet very easy to control. Good spin potensial and rubbers wich i dont have to change every second month (Hopefully). Will continue to search for a rubber that can match Butterfly that is cheaper.

Victus ZX Gear In - plays very similar to a 5 ply when looping, more power for direct shots and when away from the table

FH - dignics 05. High Spin, predictable speed, high speed ceiling.

BH - fastarc g1. High spin even at lower speeds, controlled.

What is your current setup, and why are you using it? Are you thinking about changing it?View attachment 34511I’m using the Freitas ALC, with dignics 09c on both sides. It gives me a great mix of speed and control. But i’m thinking about switching to a Vicaria for even more speed.
Not really on topic but I recently want the other way - Viscaria->Freitas and I felt the Freitas (about same weight) is clearly faster. No matter what the specs say, my Freitas is faster than (any of) my Viscaria(s). Nice feeling though. Feels like you just wanna smash every incoming ball. :)

I use Xiom Ignito with Mantra H on forehand and Rasanter 48 on backhand. Ignito is an awesome blade - perfect Hinoki touch with carbon power. I have the straight handle which is squared. Mantra H is good for loops and counters, not very fast. Rasanter 48 is quite balanced - tad softer than Mantra H. Both the rubbers have decent lifespans.
Omega VIII Pro - for BH - is next on my list. Need to wait for a while as stocks are moving quite slowly to Asia.

My current setup is TMXi with rakza Z (FH) and vega korea (BH), basically i'm using it cause provides good feeling and dwell, and at the same time it helps to correct my movement, since if i try to do it upwards it will just go off the table.
I'm considering exactly this combination of blade and rubbers! And if I'm not totally wrong, you are fairly new to table tennis?

Being myself a beginner-intermediate level, I worry that this combo will be too fast and hard to control for me.
Do you find it too fast at times?

Yes, it’s a bit too fast, and also has a high thrower angle, to be honest i’m back to 36.5 ALXi 😅.
It has a great feeling, the FH is really good, but it’s a bit difficult to find the right angle, also the head heavy weight is something to worry about.

My current setup is Stiga Inspira Hybrid Carbon, Loki Arthur China FH and Stiga Mantra Pro H BH. I've been EJing and pretty much stopped blade wise after the Inspira as that is the best of both worlds between a Long 5 and a Viscaria type blade. It larger 158.5mm head size and not too thick 5.85mm gives me incredible stability, control, power, spin, everything I need to feel like a pro with the kind of shots I can make with it.

I really like the Mantra Pro H for the price. performance and how predictable the rubber it. It feels transparent and it tells me what I'm doing wrong. I'm still experimenting with the rubbers a bit because I lucked out on getting a used sponsored player H3 blue sponge National and that thing is the magic that everyone is trying to find but cannot on commercial H3s even National versions. The only issue is it is a bit heavy so I am trying some different backhand rubbers to balance the weight on my backup racket.

My current setup:

Sauer & Troger Banana ST
FH: Stiga DNA Platinum M Max
BH: Yinhe 955 Green 0.7

Am on a LP BH for about 9 months now, trying to be aggressive and attack with em, close to the table.
Tried several different blades and rubbers, but I have now settled for all-wood and a tensor FH. As for the LP's, I've tried OX, thin sponge and thick sponge, and the 0.5~0.8 thickness is the range I'd like to be in. Also I keep coming back to the Yinhe 955 Green/Blue 0.7, which ever other LP I try, very good balance between control, disruption and attacking possibilities.

After this season I might play around with medium pips, to see if that might suit my style. And perhaps try a Dignics 05 as FH rubber, but only if I can free the budget to do so.

Darker Speed 90 shakehand. I bought this a during the covid pandemic. I placed an order nine months earlier and was placed on the waiting list for nine months! Yes, nine freaking months!

As for rubber; only Tenergy as One Ply Hinoki with Tenergy is like Bourbon & Coke, Gin & Tonic , you get the idea.
Have you ever tried D64 with your one ply ?

Not me personally but in my club there are three user of D64 on one ply hinoki ( 10mm ) and all three users have positive experience with it.

P/s: All three users are not noobs.

Ovtcharov innerforce ALC, good spin and flex, but still fast
FH: D09c, very spinny and good enough speed if they techniqe is correct, i try to use more a chineseisch forehand techniqe
BH. D05 spinny open ups, very good on top spins clase and mid distance, maybe i am going to switch to a D80 against some players i have an issue blocking with d05, but thats dependable on my daily performance and when i don´t have a really bad day D05 blocking is a non issue

Do you want to try D64 in the near future ? I wonder if you'll like it or not as you like t64fx

Probably no, and the reasons:
1. t64fx is on my BH mainly for support & control. D64 would be overkill. To me D64 on FH would be nice, but I am already using the Ultimate FH rubber, that is, T05H.
2. D series = expensive. T series prices have dropped across board. So pricing is also a factor. D is still selling at USD 68.00 whereas I got T05H at USD 50.00. No brainer here.

I have been playing only with homemade blades for 5 years, of which 25 have been made during this time. I have sold almost all the factory blades that I had, because they have lower control and sensitivity.
I am also giving up the factory booster for the sticky chinese rubbers, which I have been playing with for about 20 years on the forehand. Now I like the assembly with Glayzer 09c and Glayzer on a blade with internal reinforcement with kevlar carbon and soft wood sipo on the surface. I am also trying the LAC without a booster and G1 on different blades. So far I like it. I will watch for durability. Now we're also making two blades with oregon and meranti on the surface, I wonder how this wood will play.

What kind of wood are you using and in which order?
