I have Pro Version hovering dragon which is better Version and this rubber is really weird.
Spin like Dignics
Quality sponge - hurricane NBS
Super low throw
Super fast with low to zero dwell time
not for composite.
So dynamic Version will be softer version with worse quality topsheet...
And the topsheet from Pro version is fragile

I ordered this rubber yesterday on Ali. When it arrives, which is in about 2 weeks, I'll try it and write.
I might need to apologize to you. I tried the dynamic version on someone else's racket who got one. It is softer than the medium soft Hovering Dragon with the default Chinese sponge, I guess the Dynamic has a more ESN or BTY feel but it's also slower. It might just be my preference but I like the Hovering Dragon with the default sponge more. The topsheets are identical and the weights are very low too 45-46g cut but the weight is also true for the blue sponge medium hard Hovering Dragon.

I might underestimated the standard Chinese sponge Hovering Dragon. It's really fast, I think faster than Glayzer without being bouncy, I would say if there were a G64 probably it would be around that speed.

Actually I have changed my backhand to the Dynamic version. I still don't know what the Dynamic is about this version, as for me it still feels slower and less dynamic than the standard medium soft. But it's not slow in general terms, it seems a lot faster than G-1 or at least it has a more flat and direct flight curve and maybe because of that it seems faster.
I like that it's less bouncy than the standard version and the sponge is kinda lazy like H3N, like when the ball enters the sponge its held firmly and doesn't wanna bounce in any way. But the leaving ball is quite fast.
But during my own swings I make a lot of spin with this version and it's faster than expected and maybe only because of the lack of curve, but on the other hand I don't have trouble hitting the ball in the net either.
The Dynamic version is quite interesting but the naming of it I don't get. Also quite weird they made a new cover package for this version while the special selected Hoverind Dragons get an inside out Crestar package.

i am looking into the Dragon series for the past few days now and it is all a bit confusing and the official promo blurbs don't help at all. so you say that the regular HD version is more bouncy than the dynamic version?
which one of the series has the most bouncy sponge?

The standard Chinese medium soft is the most bouncy, it is for sure more bouncy than the Dynamic version. But don't imagine it to be Tenergy like bouncy that you do nothing and the ball springs everywhere just because it has spin. This rubber doesn't do much if you don't put intent to it. But if you have intent the normal medium soft is the fastest and bounciest.

It might, because hinoki is quite soft. With viscaria type blade I felt the special medium hard version to be too hard. It felt like the topsheet doesn't have enough time to do its job. With W968 which is quite soft it is much better. So if your hinoki top is thick and soft it might be a good match.
