We know Olympics is out for Zhu Yuling, but will she get to play Asian Games and World Champs? That will determine how much JNT should place her on their radar. Regardless, not a good look having your main players lose to someone who was essentially kicked out of CNT core right before premature retirement and has been out of the scene for 4 whole years.

She has to wait out whatever is remaining of the 9 years for WTTC and the 3 years for Asian Games. She became a resident of Macau in 2/2024 and her first WTT event was in 9/2024. Do the math.

In other words, this is as good as it gets?

The Chinese right handed ladies are all pretty good on defence, but Tongtong is special. She's got that ZYL/CM/ZYN defense in their prime. Very special.

I thought QTY was going to pull it off against WYD, but she loses 3-2,13-11. Always seems to be on the verge of a breakthrough, but can't quite do it. Nonetheless, she's got Contender Taiyuan next week to look forward to.

Odo solved the Szocs problem from Fukuoka. Now she has a bigger task with ZYL who's been beating up the JNT. ZYL's anticipation seems to be as good if not better than when she was on the CNT. Her active blocking skills are sublime so Odo is going to have to find the angles and force her to move. Odo does seems to get better each time she plays someone (vs. Szocs and vs. SYS, for example) so hopefully she can break through here.

But the big matchup I'm looking forward to is the battle of the young stars Miwa vs. KM. KM is 2-0 H2H, but it's been a while (2023 Contender Zagreb).

In Men's Singles, looking forward to wild card, Sora Matsushima, take on one of the most skilled and smartest players, LYJ.
