Stay with Mizuno. They are way more comfortable than Butterfly!
Are the wave drive 9s any good? Also is the sp5 with the boa system worth it over the drive? The issue is my current mizunos are way too big for me, more than a thumb larger. Are mizunos that much better than butterfly? Butterfly seem to be very popular

It's very much a personal preference, comments and reviews can only assume what works for majority. On the other note, seems like you are overcomplicating this heavily - it's really not that difficult picking table tennis shoes, they barely make a difference anyways comparing to any other indoor or even outdoor sports shoes

wave drive 9s are really confortable, the only good option for wide/flat feet people, durable and not that expensive, the best TT shoes imho, even if you have "normal" feet they are really good man (and if not you could use thick socks too tbh)

If you do not have wide feet, measure your feet in cm, then go for WaveDrive. I personally find the, extremely comfortable and no need break in time!

I have somewhat wide feet, would the wave drive still be best option? What about butterfly lezoline rifones?

I am using Mizunos Cross match since several years , very durable and comfy. I tried BTY lezoline rifones , somehow did not liked the comfort and durability.

they are popular as they are BTY :)

you can use butterfly lezoline levalis, it fits my wide feet perfectly and I feel more comfortable with levalis than rifones. Also what floors are you playing on? Because some shoes work better on some floors than other shoes.

I really like the Crossmatch! The Wave Drives are described as light and agile, but they feel clumsy compared to the Crossmatch. :)"

U mean cross match series are better than wave drives?, as I was looking to buy wavedrive
Well.... the wave drives are probably better when it comes to stability and cushion. They are more expensive so perhaps better build quality as well. But if you want that close to the ground-as-light-as-possible feeling then the crossmatch are a better option.

I am deciding to buy another pair of table tennis shoes as I have bought my current mizuno wave medal neos. I am deciding between wav drive 9 or butterfly lezoline rifones
In my experience butterfly shoes are shit. Just buy Li-Ning or Mizunos, this guys actually know how to make good shoes.

I'm using Li-nings subbrand Way of Wade 808 4 ultra and absolutely love them. I'm on a heavier side(83 kg), but more muscles than fat, so i want to have some cushion, and midsole designe of 808 give me great court feel and much needed shock absorbtion.

Also i want to try SPO Player 1, they look great for TT usecase. But with durability of 808's it would take some time to get there to justify the purchase)

yes, I would recommend the wave drive 9s still, I don't have experience on butterfly shoes, but they are not that recognized by their good quality exactly...

I think wd 9 should also be close to ground as many Tt players wear it
