Yinhe euro rubber compared

How do the yinhe "____ iii euro" rubbers compare with each other? For example, Yinhe Mercury III euro, Yinhe Mars III euro, Yinhe Jupiter III euro. Does anyone know how their speed, spin, forgiveness compare?

Euro usually means softer sponge.

i just play whichever mercury is more available on AliX and cheaper . no need to go hunting for III Euro. never seen it on AliX

I understand you are asking in comparison to the "II" version.

They are basically different rubbers. The main change is the sponge. It's most notable in the Mars and Mercury, not that much in the Jupiter. Jupiter II was discontinued, though. So the "III Euro/Asia" would be a (faster) replacement.

In the case of Mars, the "III Euro/Asia" is a bit more reactive IMO. It's still a control rubber, but it plays more like a ESN (saving the distances) than the II version.

And for Mercury, the "III Euro" has a more "Spongy feeling" and it's completely non-tacky. I actually prefer the II version, but both are among the best rubbers you can get for the price.

My phrasing is bad. I meant compared to other III Euros (Yinhe Mercury III euro, Yinhe Mars III euro, Yinhe Jupiter III euro), but thanks for the information I was gonna search something like that up anyway.

Jupiter 3 is a DHS Hurricane 3 style rubber. Pretty hard rubber but spinny and rewarding when engaged correctly.

Mars 3 is a pseudo euro rubber. It behaves very closely to a slow ESN rubber. Super controlable.

Mercury 3 is kind of like that, too. But, as mentioned before, somehow more spongy feeling. This one in particular is totally oriented to new players.

Is Mars 3 similar in speed to Palio AK47 blue? or much slower? Thats pretty much the only Tensor I've used other than Stiga pro carbon. I'm planning to use something like that for RPB

Hard to compare to other than softer rubbers like 729 - Focus III Snipe 42deg, Palio - AK47 Blue.

Compared to Mercury II it's easier to play a more flat game as the Euro rubbers are softer, more boncy and untacky.
Mercury II is more similar to Yinhe - Big Dipper, but a bit slower. M2 is tacky and more dense and is easier to use when brush looping for example.

I've never tried it but I've heard of TT maximum (they have a YT channel and review a load of rubbers) they also have a webstore in Europe.

Not really familiar with Palio to give any advice.

Not sure on your level, but as an RPB player I can say that I used Mars for a while and it's preaty easy to use. Not the fastest, though.

Honestly, just get the Palio blue. It's dirt cheap, you tried and liked it and... It's lightweight which is always nice.
Play with it for a couple of months, and then figure out if, and what, you want different.
Just a little bit harder sponge? Ak47 yellow, repeat process.
I played all 3 flavours and they're fine. It's not much of a comparison to European or Japanese tensor rubber, the grip is just OK and the sponge is fragile, but it costs half or less than a half decent cheap Eurojap like Xiom Vega Europe. It's not going to last long, but long enough to get an impression whether it is the direction you want.
