What just happened to the WTT YouTube channel????

Umm.. IDK if it’s just in America but the WTT yt channel is completely gone, being in America it the only place I can get table tennis match’s.

Channel got hacked by crypto scammers earlier today. Being taken down is a good sign, first step to restoring it. Shouldn't take too long, at least it didn't happen during a major event.

Whateva happened, it says a lot about how ITTF and WTT are conducted after the the last election drama: it's bullshaït

You never see that in any other sport. No one has ever hacked the FIFA channel (and everyone knows the never ending dramas there since decades !)

This doesn't really have anything to do with politics, rather a lack of IT security awareness.

It usually doesn't happen to huge organisations like fifa because they have are big enough to organize this kind of stuff. Table tennis is tiny and organizations are happy finding anyone who can do the socials in the first place.

Security first works best for organizations that can afford it.
