Are players in Europe (US as well) interested in lesser-known Chinese rubbers?

Hello, fellow table tennis enthusiasts.

I know some of the more hardcore players and EJs here have probably tried some of the Chinese rubbers that are harder — or borderline impossible — to find in Europe/US. I’m talking about things like:

• 729 Battle II (Provincial / National / Special National)
• 729 Bloom Power
• Yinhe Big Dipper (No. 1 / 2 / 3)
• Yinhe Moon, Moon Pro, Moon Speed, Jupiter
• Sanwei Target National / Provincial
• LOKI Arthur, GTX, Rxton series
• Double Fish Valant Phoenix 1 & 2
• Yinhe Mercury II
(...and many other niche options — too many to list.)

Out of curiosity — if any of these were easier to get in the EU (and possibly even in the US), with fair prices and significantly faster shipping, which ones would actually interest you?

Not talking AliExpress wait times or the gamble on shipping quality — just wondering if there's genuine interest, curiosity, or even demand for these in our scene, and which ones specifically.

Would love to hear your experiences or thoughts!

Most sold Antispin rubbers on China market. Yinhe COMET in blue is a glanti type of Antispin great to kill incoming spin.

TAOBAO selling prices is somewhat temptation, compared to Europa vendors.

Be happy all.

My two cents.
I'd say Arthur china would sell good, the rest requires booster which isn't popular to the general public.
I see, I appreciate the comment — totally fair point.
Do they really need booster though? I mean, even if they do, I’ve noticed that most players who go down the Chinese rubber rabbit hole end up embracing boosting pretty quickly.

Take the well-known Hurricane 3 for example — I actually tried it unboosted at first, but it didn’t take long before I grabbed a bottle of Haifu Seamoon. The performance jump is just too big to ignore. At this point, H3 and booster are basically inseparable — you hear one, the other’s not far behind 😅

That said, I’ve been seeing more and more players (even beginners) warming up to the idea lately. Forums, YouTube, and influencers have made it way more accessible. And hey, even Zhang Jike openly admitted to it recently 😂

Right, who doesn’t love a quality item for a cheaper price, especially if you can get your hands on something rare or high-performance? 😅 The challenge is that for a lot of players in EU/US, Taobao still feels risky — long shipping, uncertain product quality, or needing a middleman just to buy

There's a few European webshops selling this kind of stuff, but Ali prices are usually better.
I see, so it's mostly because of price, or are there other reasons too? Or do shipping times and reliability also play a role here? Can't speak for everyone, but from personal experience, AliExpress has been always a gamble — last order ended up taking over 42 days to finally arrive to my doorstep, communication was also incredibly poor

Ali works pretty good for me when I stick to the sellers I know. Rubbers and blades are shipped in 2 weeks or so (unless I make the mistake of ordering something during a holiday). Fluids are less reliable.

Communication is non existent, but I filed for a refund and got it.

Typical H3 thrash- talk. Just because a player has not the technique to get power, spin and speed out of an H3 does not mean H3 need boosting
Appreciate your comment — no intention to "thrash-talk" at all, just sharing my personal experience and opinion. Totally respect that H3 works great for many players without booster as well

Well, it's bit of a metaphor, however, that's true. Nature has its price — I get birdsong and fresh air, but not express shipping 😂

Some punters here on the forum once said that Aliexpress is not selling goods to Germany. If they do sell to other european countries , a little tip
Choose shops that have been established at least a few years. Check their percentage of sale-results and go for shop that are in the high 90s.
Choose goods that are advertised under the ""CHOICE"" - scheme , then postage is free and goods are shipped through Alixpress.

I've played a bunch of them and now I'm trying the Battle 2 gold.

I'd love to have access to all these rubbers but the fact that new iterations of these rubbers, like hurricane 3 have less tackiness, make them useless to me. At that point esn hybrids are better and sometimes even cheaper.

This is so true, unfortunately. Lots of punters have kept on asking for an explanation why the reduced stickiness by so many manufacturers but none of them has ever come forward with a straight answer.
