Hello Friends đź‘‹ ,

What is the angle of https://www.tabletennis11.com/other_eng/dhs-hurricane-3-neo ?

How can I know what was the angle of earlier used hurricane 3 Neo which I bought from mega spin many years ago ?

I have never boosted them, is boosting them necessary?

Thanks
On the back of the package it says 39 degrees, 2.15mm sponge.
It's hardness btw, nothing to do with angle

39 is the most commonly sold one

What does the NEO mean?

So on Tabletennis11 website they have

DHS Hurricane 3 Provincial 40' blue sponge

DHS Hurricane 3 Neo Provincial 40'(blue sponge)

DHS Hurricane 3 Neo Provincial 40' orange sponge

so the blue sponge is available in 40' in standard provincial and neo provincial.
And neo is available in the same 40' hardness but both blue and orange sponges.

So what is the difference between them all?

So what is the difference between them all?
Orange sponge (#20) and blue sponge (#22) have different performance. The Neo versions of orange and blue are a bit more elastic out of the package and have a glue layer installed on the sponge already. If you are boosting the Neo reacts a bit stronger to boost but you can get non-Neo up to 2.2mm sponge

Thanks for the info.
So if there is already a layer of glue on the neo, does that mean you only need to glue the blade, or is it advisable to glue both?

Also, what is the difference in performance between the blue and orange.
From reading various reviews, am I correct in thinking that the orange sponge is slightly bouncier?
