Should I replace my Rasanter C48 with a NUZN rubber?

Both C48 and NUZN 50 are excellent rubbers.

I´ll try to make the comparison easy, not least for me ;-)

If you place hybrid rubbers somewhere in between traditional Chinese and ESN Tensor you will find that C48 leans a little more towards typical Chinese (like some other hybrids) and NUZN gives more Tensor feeling (unlike any other hybrid I know of).

Anything else is individual. You might, however, also want to take a look at the NUZN 48.

Thanks, I've heard bad reviews of the NUZN 48. How does what you say translate to performance? The C48 is great for blocking countering and looping. Is the NUZN 50 good in the same way but faster, due to the extra tensor feeling?

I think so.

As for NUZN 48, the only negative reviews I have read so far seem to come from false expectations.
It is totally clear and very intentional that the 48 is slower and comes with thinner sponges to fit the needs of amateur level players better. And yes, in direct comparison I would prefer NUZN 50 MAX to NUZN 48 2,1 mm also - but that´s not the point.

Somehow this reminds me of some reviews when Glayzer came out and Butterfly mentioned it being modelled "on dignics technology" - but it was foolish to expect a softer version of the same thing for half price...

I´ve given my racket to pro/semi-pro level players and no-one complained about the rubber as such. Only when you compare it to NUZN 50 or some other top of the range rubbers it will appear a bit slow-ish - because it´s meant to.
