The USA U15 team is weak currently, 2500 is kind of a reasonable estimate for where you would want to be AT THE MINIMUM at 15 to have a chance for future low-level prospects. If not, at least you can be one of the top players in the USA.

But I don't think 3 sessions a day is necessary to reach that. As long as he is using all his free time after school and on the weekends playing table tennis with the right coaches and training partners, he could get there with some luck and a lot of hard work.
if that is the case, 1800 to 2500 in 2~3 years.... no need to sacrifice anything in life

Well, your current coach is ranked ~ 2400, so - let's just say, given your very high aspirations...

If you can access the coaches at MDTTC, it would be very much in your interest to do so.

You can click on their pictures here and see their experience/qualifications:

Do you think I can get to 2400 when I am 15? That is my goal right now. The best 15 year old now is around 2450
You could, but will be very hard. As said before do nothing besides for school and table tennis for the next 4 years, work with coaches and players who have proven experience in getting players to 2450, and see what happens.

As mentioned before though, 1800 to 2450 is roughly 1000x harder than 0 to 1800. So you have a lot of work ahead of you. And you will need coaching from people and training systems that have gotten people to 2450. I don't know the details of your club but I know what clubs feed the USA junior teams and top players in the nation (it is a short list), and your current one is not one of them.

Yeah he thinks so to, at his peak he was beating 26-2700s
Your coach has an extensive USATT tournament history and he has been consistently around 2400 since 2005. His peak rating was 2445 around 2023. So no, he was never beating 26-2700s at his peak.

I am rooting for you and your progress but there seems to be some delusion here.

Again, he has extensive tournament history on USATT from nearly every year from 2005-2025. He has no record at any time in these 20 years of being anywhere close to 2700 or even 2600. Even if he was playing in Europe, he has tournament records in the USA from nearly every year in the last 20 years. So I am not sure if you think that a 2400 player magically becomes a 2700 player when he takes a flight to Europe or what?

Looking at ur footage, I can say ur a very good player for ur age and for how long you have been playing. However, I agree with many others that you still have a ways to go to be pro level. Kanak moved to Sweden at a young age to train professional and he is now Top 30. Nandan is going to move to germany to train full time and even then he’s still planning to go to school. Nikhil Kumar is certainly good enough to be a pro player but he knows that being a full time pro is challenging to make any real money, so it seems like TT is a part time thing for him and he is focused on his education and career. Hugo Calderano did not become who he is right now by training in Brazil. I’m not saying it’s not possible for you to be a full time pro and training in Portugal for a summer is a great progression, but if you want any chance to break into the top 50, you need to train full time in China or Europe.

Like me, ur footwork isnt the greatest and i would recommend doing footwork drills like falkenberg or 2 FH 2 BH or some agility training too. Especially as a young kid who is shorter the older players u will come up against may try to move u around because they know u have a harder time reaching the ball

Some of ur serves seemed pretty high as well, and ur opponents were not skilled enough to try and attack them. Stronger players will definitely kill ur serve immediately imo

I didn't say he didn't need to sacrifice anything, I said it is possible to do without sacrificing school for 3x per day training sessions. It has been done before. Not easy, but doable. But all of the people who did it, did it with the help of elite coaches and clubs.

When I get to high school there will be periods where I go to Germany and china to train for like 6 months, I’ve already talked to my parents about that

Yeah my coach is helping with that, my short backspin is high but my other serves are usually pretty low
